He played for approximately 150 years....those stats don't mean anything to me. Especially the yardage...the GCs are more about how much did you do to earn it. Milt didn't win a Grey Cup......Damon Allen won 3. I know they're different positions, but that right there is why GC rings doesn't necessarily equate to greatness for me...

Ploen and Dieter I'd have somewhere in the all time best, but there's absolutely zero question of two things, both of which are well documented in the last 20 years: 1) Colin Unger is insane and 2) Ricky Ray is one of the greatest of all time, and EASILY in the Top 3, behind Moon and Flutie...

Demski was hurt the whole time he was in Sask, so you can't even make the call, and honestly, I was expecting a lot more out of Demski the last couple years. He had moments, but didn't really shine the way I thought. If he fills Dresslers role this year, maybe we'll see a difference but you absolutely can't say Lapo is getting more out of him because he hardly played in Sask.

Every single time he's had to go in, we've never noticed a drop off in play, and as the poster mentioned, there've been several reports that he's good enough to start anywhere else, and is only a back-up because Hardrick is that good...

as an aside (since this is "Around The League"...), Grey Cup tix are now on sale. Starting at 149.95. We decided to buy a couple on the weekend and hopefully the Bombers come through for us. I'm planning to take the Friday-Sunday off work and take in all the parties this year, so may as well go to the game. Should be a time, and hopefully we'll see a few of you 'Tobans around the Spirit of Edmonton and TD Manitoba parties (the best ones of the weekend...)
