Really? Coaching doesn't matter? Reilly had two years in BC. Collaros has Milanovich, Maas, Brady and Ray who all played in the CFL at QB. You think that doesn't make a difference in terms of developing a QB? 2 of our offensive coaches are in their first CFL job as a coach or player, the other 2 are Howell and Bellefeuille, essentially a rookie and a coach with a so-so record as both an OC and head coach, and no track record of developing quarterbacks, other than failed ones. Mostly leaned on scrapped vets like Marcus Crandell and Kevin Glenn. Makes a really great case for Dickenson for HC, with a Jason Maas type at OC or at least QB coach, wouldn't it? If the Bombers are serious about finally developing a winning calibre QB... this line of thinking would be a really refreshing change of course for the WBB. Depends on how serious the WBB decide they want to be about developing both a winning culture, and one in which a QB prospect can thrive. Yeah I don't think there's a person out there who would say it was absolutely wrong to pull Hall, but leaving Boltus in when he was obviously not ready to be in there... yikes that's just going to be bad for everything. Can we honestly trust Boltus to go in again if we need him? All this dicking around Burke is doing at the position is reminiscent of Mike Kelly. Keep churning through new guys in hopes someone finds some magic. Hall and Goltz have been here the entire year (Goltz for a few years now) they should be the only two qbs they even think of playing at this point because they're the only ones who have a realistic chance of not totally embarassing themselves.

Head coach is the biggest issue on the team right now... but they can't do anything about it cause they've already fired too many people so we're going to march on for the rest of the season getting our asses handed to us and suffering weekly embarassments until mercifully at the end of the season Burke is put out of his misery. Gonna be a real tough October Bomber fans, get your alcohol of choice ready.

How many weeks have the Bombers made someone a player of the week? Not going to prove much playing well against that offense. It's much more telling if you don't play well against that offense. Oh and what would be the problem with Worman joining the Bombers in some respect? Seems to me we had a pretty good offense when he was here before and was he not the guy who pointed Ricky Ray towards the CFL in the first place?

Our Canadian talent was brutal before Mack got here and he didn't inherit a lot of draft picks. When you look at what he's done Macks drafting was fine, he did more to rebuild the NI talent on this team than had been done in years. Don't try your typical blowing things out of proportion to take another whack at Mack. Oh yeah, forgot. Not Mack's fault. All Burke's. actually no, Mike Kellys fault. you know it takes time for NIs to develop right? Can't judge drafts until like 3 years after the fact right?

in the flag football league I play in they implement a mercy rule when one team goes up by 4 touchdowns to prevent scores from getting out of hand, I suggest the CFL implement a similar rule.

That he left Boltus in is unacceptable. It does no good to leave the kid in there to get his ass kicked all night long. He wasn't ready should have got him out of there for his own good.

If they'd wanted Donny O as a starter they would have paid him, that's why he left, they didn't view him as a starter and he wanted starters money so they got Jake Thomas as a backup/rotational NI d-lineman. Just because fans liked him doesn't mean Donny O was a starter level guy. If he wasn't local no one would be talking about him.

Hell there's plenty of stuff to suggest they've offered Muamba top dollar already too. This team has always been willing to pay it's top NIs top NI money.

Like I said, the entire thought process from the coaches with regards to the qb and offense was flawed from the get go.
