  1. Jim Popp is an ******* and Wettenhall is a slimy POS, file this under things we already new. Not so easy when you can't hide behind Calvillo is it.
  2. But to be completely fair you've hated McDuffie for years. In fact you wanted to bash his head in with a pipe...
  3. You don't say... Gee I wish someone would have said this before we hired him... oh wait, everyone did!
  4. Harris shoulda been the bombers MOP. This team doesn't do **** without him
  5. Why aren't they good enough? The only team that's been consistent the whole way through has been Calgary and honestly after sitting on their asses for as long as they're going to have been and the 1 point game in Calgary earlier I want a crack at them. Edmonton and BC has been as up and down as Winnipeg and the less said about the east the better. This team can definitely make a Grey Cup appearance. Will they? I dunno but they're as good as any not Calgary team in the league this year.
  6. yeah he has, he was just lucky before that dbs didn't grab the picks, but Nichols has had some stinkers to start games before. It was 17-3 at the half, hardly the time to be pulling a qb, especially when you know that your D generally makes good adjustments as the game goes on.
  7. None of you learned from me last week. Lapo loves to force the ball to Adams, he's the safer pick. Or Harris. Plus isn't Denmark hurt they say?
  8. how many qbs in the CFL get pulled that quickly though? The only places it happens are the gong shows where a desperate coach is fighting for his job trying to find that instantaneous spark to save his own ass temporarily. BLM plays alllll the snaps in Calgary, Jennings has to really be pooping the bed to come out in BC, does Reilly even have a backup in Edmotnon? Never see him.
  9. Nichols has started poorly and worked his way out of it in so many games this season why pull the guy? All that does is make players afraid to make a mistake and play tentatively which leads to losses as well. What should have happened was they should have used the ground game more to take some pressure off the qb and let him work through it like he has so many other times. Hell he even worked through it in that game, just too late to matter. Switching qbs wouldn't have won the Bombers the game, too many players didn't play well enough. They got beat plain and simple and there is no one thing that cost them, especially not anything MOS did.
  10. I'd buy cheaper scotch and tell them it's 60 dollar scotch and then let them thank me for the expensive drinks.
  11. he's a hell of an athlete, no one ever questioned that, he's also a generational level puss.
  12. Hell even a field goal out of that changes things because that's been the Bombers MO in their wins too. chip away with field goals and eventually the D adjusts and tightens up the coverage and the offense keeps chipping away. You throw the ball away and come out with nothing though and it's too big a hole. Momentum is everything for this team and when they're in that deep they can't get out.
  13. I'd say it was more poor execution than poor play calling. On the direct snap on the fake punt I really thought they got jobbed on the spot of the ball, but even so the player stumbled when he got the ball anyway so that's on execution. The ints weren't poor play calls, they were poor decisions by Nichols so that's a player problem. Really that game was plain and simple poor plays by the players on the field.
  14. Hall has had the same thing happen most of his time here. Start poor and adjust. I just expect it.
  15. Turn overs. Nichols took points away with bad picks and some failed gambles took some away too. That's the game.
  16. Because he's Lapo and he's the most over rated offebsive coordinator in the league
  17. But he gassed some passes that should have been caught too. The O flat out sucked but I give Harris a pass cause he did what he could.
  18. I think that really is a testament to how much field he covers cause guys like Sherritt are similar in how big an area they cover on the field. I want more guys who get all over the field to make plays rather than fewer and the people trying to say he was having a poor season can GTFO of here with that nonsense.
  19. rough year? before he got hurt everyone was raving about his play. I think people have this habit where they remember the couple times he actually missed a tackle and ignore all the other times that he was all over the field making things happen.
