So just to recap... the Argos go over the salary cap and not only do they not get fined/penalized but they get rewarded with an extra territorial pick...

Rest of the league subsidizes their losses while they pay Jim Popp $600k a year...  got it.

I looked at that article and I couldn’t see how much over the cap they were. Did I miss that or was it not listed?

Notice one cop immediately behind bending down to assist the injured man and another cop grabs him and pulls him away.

Notice also they immediately grab at least one person and arrest him so they can say this was a skirmish or incident.

And here is an article from The Buffalo News about a group of cops who took a knee with some protesters the day before: https://buffalonews.com/2020/06/03/watch-now-five-buffalo-police-officers-kneel-with-protesters/

I've seen some tweets that indicate the cop at the front of this picture is the same one who grabbed the cop who was trying to check on the elderly man.

As an example of American "Justice"- this 14 year old boy was executed for allegedly raping a white woman in the 50's.  He was exonerated almost 70 years later when the "victim" on her deathbed recanted. The only evidence was her statement.

That was not what he was charged and convicted of. He was convicted of killing two young girls in a sham trial (a 2 hour trial and 10 minute deliberation). His conviction was overturned 70 years after his execution though.

You’re quite ignorant to reality. 100,000 dead in the US with massive lockdowns and social distancing compared to less than half of that for a regular flu season with no precautions.  Yeah nothing to see here.

Likely much more than 100,000 dead in the US. Some states like Florida, Texas and Georgia have reportedly been listing Covid-19 deaths as flu deaths when they actually release statistics.

Lol. That subreddit didn't follow the sites terms of use. There are a pile of subreddits that were killed not because of lack of free speech, but lack of following the rules.

Free speech is a government construct anyway not a private company thing. Companies can stop you from saying anything, it's a government that can not when free speech exists. I wish people had enough brain cells to rub together to understand that.

Exactly. If people actually read the terms of services of any forum they would know that they are basically giving up the right to free speech when they post.

Howard Stern spoke candidly about longtime friend Donald Trump on his SiriusXM radio show on Tuesday.

Trump attended Stern’s wedding in 2008 and has been on his SiriusXM show “too many times to count,” Stern said last year. “He was one of the top 5 guests of all time. He was wild…completely unfiltered.”

“The oddity in all of this is the people Trump despises most, love him the most,” said Stern on Tuesday. “The people who are voting for Trump, for the most part … He wouldn’t even let them in a f*cking hotel. He’d be disgusted by them. Go to Mar-a-Lago, see if there’s any people who look like you. I’m talking to you in the audience.”

I don’t think Vulcans can only mate every seven years.  I think they’re just compelled to.  B’elana and Paris were married with children on VOY.

And T’Pol and Trip did have a child that didn’t survive

One way to interpret pon farr is that Vulcans only have sex once every seven years. However, TOS writer and continuity story editor D.C. Fontana once explained that pon farr is not the only time Vulcans feel romantic attraction, sexual desire, or engage in sexual activity:

"Vulcans mate normally any time they want to. However, every seven years you do the ritual, the ceremony, the whole thing. The biological urge. You must, but any other time is any other emotion – humanoid emotion – when you're in love. When you want to, you know when the urge is there, you do it. This every-seven-years business was taken too literally by too many people who don't stop and understand. We didn't mean it only every seven years. I mean, every seven years would be a little bad, and it would not explain the Vulcans of many different ages which are not seven years apart." – D.C. Fontana (Captains' Logs: The Unauthorized Complete Trek Voyages)

  8. An op-ed by Mary B. McCord, who was acting assistant attorney general for national security at the Justice Department from 2016 to 2017, in the NYT:

    Quote

At the direction of Attorney General Bill Barr, the Justice Department last week moved to dismiss a false-statements charge against Michael Flynn, President Trump’s former national security adviser. The reason stated was that the continued prosecution “would not serve the interests of justice.”

The motion was signed by Timothy Shea, a longtime trusted adviser of Mr. Barr and, since January, the acting U.S. attorney in Washington. In attempting to support its argument, the motion cites more than 25 times the F.B.I.’s report of an interview with me in July 2017, two months after I left a decades-long career at the department (under administrations of both parties) that culminated in my role as the acting assistant attorney general for national security.

    ...

But the report of my interview is no support for Mr. Barr’s dismissal of the Flynn case. It does not suggest that the F.B.I. had no counterintelligence reason for investigating Mr. Flynn. It does not suggest that the F.B.I.’s interview of Mr. Flynn — which led to the false-statements charge — was unlawful or unjustified. It does not support that Mr. Flynn’s false statements were not material. And it does not support the Justice Department’s assertion that the continued prosecution of the case against Mr. Flynn, who pleaded guilty to knowingly making material false statements to the FBI, “would not serve the interests of justice.”

If it didn't, wouldn't people be getting re-infected? Serious question. Of all the people that have had it and recovered, I haven't heard of any of them catching it repeatedly. Have you? There was one woman in Japan that thought she might have caught it twice but they're now skeptical, thinking she likely just never got over the first infection adequately.

Canada's national coronavirus modelling forecast shows that  as of Monday morning, the median age for an infected person is 52, with a gender breakdown of 55% female and 45% male. Percentage of cases requiring hospitalization is 17.1%, with 5.5% of cases resulting in death.

Here's an article about how more men are dying from COVID-19 than women although the article doesn't mention the rates in Canada:

So Joe Biden, will the media actually begin exploring whether or not he has some form of cognitive impairment? Watching him speak and his gaffes and comparing this to say 4-5 years ago, clearly something isn't 100%.

Joe Biden has had a stutter since he was a child. There are still times when he struggles with his words.
