I agree. I can remember the reports saying sources in Calgary said the Stamps wanted Chris Matthews and then changed to wanting our second overall pick in the 2013 draft for Glenn.

If there was skill to this then you wouldn't be eliminated and I would. Seriously though having no strikes at this point is really impressive.

In all my years as a Bomber fan I can't remember ever being this disenchanted with a head coach.

The overall plan failed and that sucks. But there were parts of the plan like acquiring draft picks instead of trading them away and trying to improve our NI talent that were not a failure. Building from within is a good plan in theory rather than going the Taman route and overpaying aging vets. Yeah our overall record under Mack was crap and I'm not broken up that he was fired but I'm also not going to re-write history to say everything he did was bad.

Doesn't mean it was a bad plan though. Sometimes good plans fail.

I'm so confused by everything that is being posted here and at other forums and that is reported by the media. So far: Burke had to be forced by Mack to start Goltz over Buck after Crowton went over Burke's head. (media report) Burke likes Goltz, Crowton likes Hall. (posters) Burke said Goltz is starter for season, media says Hall starting against Hamilton. Burke said Buck could be moved up to #2 and come in if Goltz struggles. Crowton said Goltz is starter and he'd like to get Hall more playing time. Hall is rumoured to be starting against Hamilton because: 1) Burke can now play who he wants because Mack is gone. (posters) 2) Crowton is forcing Burke to let him start. (posters) 3) Miller is forcing it because he wants to win now. (posters) I going to wait until Monday and find out who gets starters reps and I hope someone will call in to the Coach's Show to ask what the hell is going on. Except according to Madani, Goltz was told they were going with Hall because they want to win now and don't have time to develop Goltz.

When Cortez was fired by the Ticats one of the reasons given was they didn't think he was a good "face of the team". Unfortunately with our media I'm not sure we can afford to have another HC who isn't more media savvy.

His contract was extended in early 2012 after we went to GC. He was extended and then Lapo. There weren't any reports that they extended it again after the 2012 season.

Because like us the Stamps only have 3 QBs on their roster and iirc you have to dress 3 QBs. Hufnagel was quoted as saying Tate would be out for 2-3 weeks the day before the game.

He's injured and will be out for at least 2-3 more weeks and that's if this treatment works. He can't throw TD passes from the IR.
