You should definitely not be cocky. That 6-0 record is gaudy but CFL history is littered with great regular seasons that went bust. Right now we are one-dimensional on O .... no one can stop Collaros. If someone figures out how to do that, or the weather kicks in, or god forbid (i'm not even going to say it, it would be so devastating) we are hooped.

I've been rooting hard for Bailey ever since I saw him pancake a ticat DE on the first Harris TD in the 2019 Grey Cup. re social media, I've been surprised at how decent CFL reddit has been. it won't replace MBB any time but there's worthwhile stuff there. typical reddit thing, there's lots of dummies alongside some good posters.

I'm trying to remember if a player has ever been banned from the league for onfield stuff. I can think of a couple of banned guys -- there was Manziel violating his contract conditions and there was a dude who had a bad domestic on him and the league either voided his contract or said they wouldn't register one for him -- but those were things that happened away from the field.

I seem to recall that the knock on him was that he was an upright runner at speed and being a big boy, that made him really vulnerable. A safety coming downhill at him had a lot to aim at. Real sad to see -- he could have been an all-timer, up there with Cornish, Harris, and Kwong. he did win some medals at bobsled world cups, so that's pretty cool.

I went back and watched a bunch of Clements games over the past couple years and yeah, I agree. Clements was a slippery guy and his field vision was so good that he could always find the open man and get the ball there. I think Collaros is a better passer than Clements was, though. Collaros' accuracy is something special, up there in the Ricky Ray tier as far as CFL guys go, and ZC definitely can put more mustard on the ball than TC could. Hell, I think Hufnagel had a way better arm than Clements did, he put up some beauty rainbows in his day, but he didn't have Clements' uncanny radar and playmaking ability.

ah, twitter has the hookup. big attaboys for Schoen on the scramble drill there, he fakes taking off deep like the short receiver is supposed to do and then he curls back to the stick. Ties Sayles in knots and is wide open for the sideways desperation throw. We got a first down because our QB has beast level body control and our WR has great situational awareness. you love to see it.

I missed this throw during the game but to get back on the topic of Collaros' passing skills...this one was, according to reddit, a dart and a completion.
