  1. He was selling knee and hip replacements he said. But good jab! Lol He made no bones about saying how computers mystified him and that he had to rely a lot on the kindness of others when he started in coaching.
  2. I hope Bluto is in there somewhere....
  3. Osh said the hardest part of moving from playing to coaching was "learning to use technology". That one made me laugh.
  4. Did everyone see that interview with O'Shea last Sunday before the game? Very interesting. Osh was selling medical equipment after retiring as a player, and it was Barker who got him into coaching. Thank goodness for that. I can't even imagine Osh as a sales guy lol.
  5. Yes the similarities are striking actually.
  6. Johnny Bower got hit in the face all the time...lol
  7. Good thing we won that one. Just disgusting.
  8. I'd rather go with Ned myself personally...
  9. Braid: Smith pledges $2.4 billion of inflation relief in TV address | Calgary Herald How about adding a few hundred million to the price tag and building a new arena and football stadium in Calgary Danielle? You've suddenly got all this money. Tack on a few bucks to upgrade Commonwealth while you are at it. Just get it done. Alberta needs new sports infrastructure.
  10. This one has got me through some dark times over the years: Probably will see this song featured on Stranger Things next year, given their infatuation with Kate Bush... Lyrics: In this proud land we grew up strong We were wanted all along I was taught to fight, taught to win I never thought I could fail No fight left or so it seems I am a man whose dreams have all deserted I've changed my face, I've changed my name But no one wants you when you lose Don't give up 'Cause you have friends Don't give up You're not beaten yet Don't give up I know you can make it good Though I saw it all around Never thought I could be affected Thought that we'd be the last to go It is so strange the way things turn Drove the night toward my home The place that I was born, on the lakeside As daylight broke, I saw the earth The trees had burned down to the ground Don't give up You still have us Don't give up We don't need much of anything Don't give up 'Cause somewhere there's a place Where we belong Rest your head You worry too much It's going to be alright When times get rough You can fall back on us Don't give up Please don't give up Got to walk out of here I can't take anymore Going to stand on that bridge Keep my eyes down below Whatever may come And whatever may go That river's flowing That river's flowing Moved on to another town Tried hard to settle down For every job, so many men So many men no-one needs Don't give up 'cause you have friends Don't give up You're not the only one Don't give up No reason to be ashamed Don't give up You still have us Don't give up now We're proud of who you are Don't give up You know it's never been easy Don't give up 'Cause I believe there's the a place There's a place where we belong
  11. Start 8 DL - pressure Zach all night, then somehow convince Buck to bring in Prukop and have him throw on first down?
  12. I'm not sure, but I heard they weren't getting much. 4x that might be at least something.
  13. I will have to re-watch as the 4th qtr is a bit hazy....

  21. I was contemplating buying some merch for the Teemu night thing last night at the Jets game but I wasn't going to fork out $45 or whatever they were asking for a crappy t-shirt. No way. Hey look at that a week in to my stay in Winnipeg and the old cheap habits are returning lol!
