  1. I also know this - Brett Blaszko wears a live rattlesnake as a condom.
  2. RIP Hugh.
  3. ????  I am not understanding.  As per usual.  What is the problem?

oh right, sorry totally forgot that I posted that.  Whoops.

  4. "Dad hide your shame!!" (Screwed that one up)
  5. so then give away your tickets for the games you don't want to go. For me anyway, it's about supporting the team, not just about your own issues. And if the Bombers were playing, I'd come home from the lake the day before the game. That's just how I would roll. This isn't rocket science, or whatever science they practiced back in 1953.
  6. You could also hit Andre Proulx in the head with a whiskey bottle. One day it could make a touching story for your daughter.
  7. How about this? LSE Perrault - Little - Wheels Matthias - Lowry-Armia Petan-Copp- Dano (Tanev/Connor) Morrissey - Trouba Poolman-Buff Kulikov-Myers (Enstrom/Chiarot) Helle (Mason)
  8. For what we're paying Kulikov, isn't he going to play every night?
  9. Any way this line comes together this year? I am in favor as I nabbed both Scheif and Ehlers in my pool last night. Second line - Wheeler/Little/?
  10. all right, if it's ok for me to pick first again, I'm going with Messam this week against a Montreal team that has totally disintegrated. That being said, I have no problem taking Andrew Harris again either as I think he's going to shred the Eskimos. Let me know.
  11. thanks for summarizing my entire time as a Bomber fan from 2009 to 2014.
  12. true, but that being said, any sports involving snow and cold seem to be predominated by white people. Probably because the sports that are played in countries with cold climates are predominately Caucasian, at this current moment in time. Not sure why that is somehow a bad thing. As demographics change, this trend will change, and I'm totally in favour of that.
  13. No I'm not suggesting that. I just don't know why suddenly "mostly white" NHL hockey teams are even a "thing"? So what? Are you equally angry that a lot of basketball teams are "mostly black"? Why are we focusing on race at all? Who the hell cares?
  14. LOL - come on man, back down a bit on the histrionics. Could you even form an NHL team with non-white players? It's the whitest sport in the world, next to maybe that sport where the guys cross-country ski and then shoot out targets with a gun. It's no surprise that the Pittsburgh Penguins are "mostly white". Do they have any players who aren't white? Man I hate this racial crap. Who cares what race any player is. That's what bugs me about Trump wading into this cesspool. Last week no one really cared if a player wanted to kneel during an anthem. Now it's all politics. Just meh. I was listening to Howard Stern this morning and he was saying that sports is the one place you could go to escape politics, and now fans don't even have that. Just barf.
  15. speaking as a Bomber fan living far far away, there is nothing on earth that would prevent me from being a season ticket holder for the Blue and Gold if I actually lived within driving distance of IGF. Nothing. You just don't appreciate what you have.
  16. Did I ever tell you guys about the time that Blaszko and I took a hot air balloon trip over Los Angeles? Blaszko brings an atomic bomb and drops it on the city! Then, he looks at me and says, "It would have happened sooner or later."
  17. Need someone to help with the harvest.
  18. I wouldn't mind seeing what happened to Winnipeg in 1992 and 2007 happen to Calgary this year, and Bo Levi go down near the end of the season and Calgary having to play a green-horn QB. Even with a great team, losing your starter for a Sammy Garza/Ryan Dinwiddie/Andrew Buckley is pretty insurmountable. About time this happened to Calgary instead of us.
  19. really seeing how much our receiving corp suffered last year after he went down. We might have gotten further in the playoffs last year with him in the line up.
  20. Stamps D is dominant in a way I haven't seen since the days of Tyrone Jones and Dan Kepley.
  21. what no love for Brett Blaszko? Did I tell you guys about the time.... :) Not sure if anyone noticed but Thorpe was quietly replaced on the P/R by another receiver, named Chris Givens. He last played in the NFL in 2016.
  22. I definitely took them in my pick em pool. Who didn't? The Lions should have won that game hands down. The red zone decision-making was atrocious. Whoever is responsible should be fired.
