You’re not kidding. I was looking today to book a work trip and even using a normally very good corp code the were crazy high. Even Winnipeg has been very high lately but TO in mud December was pretty cheap to book.

I think Pinball has some tough choices to make in TO. Do you spend $600k on an excuse machine? can you employee a coach that covered up his QB’s injury? Will be a bad look for the league as a whole if nothing happens out of Kelly’s BS excuses.

I’ll wear my Jefferson jersey, 11 year old wants a Brady. If he re-signs I’ll get a road Schoen. Wife has a Bighill but usually wears other gear from at home games.

Costco (Regent) had some AAA 2 packs of tri tip for $44-50 today. Pretty good deal overall.

Depends on what part of the city. Boulevard Meats in Southdale and sometimes Coop stores. Price is sometimes the obstacle more than anything, shouldn’t run $19.99/lb but has at times this year.

I’ll take a Beef Gravy Poutine with a Kraken Storm or 6. I think best to call ahead, looks like they don’t open until after the game starts…

My wife reminded me that we have an appointment in the morning that will keep us out of the house until mid afternoon. That eliminates any of the slow smoked options. Might have to search for a good price on TriTip, can always leave it running in the sous vide and then just charcoal sear to finish. Likely sheet pan of a tater tot street corn medley thing as a side. Hard to say right now, have a b!tch of a work week to get through first.

In my mind Banjo Bowl this year was louder. I think the cold air burns out some voices faster, mine was giving out last night and the single sided clapper wasn’t much help (damn non cold resistant plastic).

Just wondering what everyone else is planning for their celebration meal and snacks. I usually smoke some wings but after last year leaning towards mixing it up with some Ribs or possibly a TriTip. Decisions, decisions.

I am honored to even make the list at all, simply showing up means something... I thought I was doing well this year and got picks in every week then week 19 or 20 happened, too much life got in the way and I missed the week. Better than usual as I often have 2 or 3 bran fart weeks in which I forget. Rich, Thanks again for hosting this board and sending me the invite when you started it up.

Here's the thing, you do comment on many of these, scroll back a couple of pages and there is a comment about **** Butkus, ECW/WCW wrestling and addiction and alcoholism. You participate as much as anyone so stop being a hypocrite and stop suggesting it should be shut down and no one should talk about these things. You avail yourself of the freedoms to chat here, why suggest that others shouldn't?
