Mike

Buffalo has a unique ability to help us today and in the future. Their prospect pool is insane. I'd take any one of Zadorov, Armia or Grigorenko. In that order.

There was never a Canadian DT available.

Why does that have any bearing on draft needs? We're not going to draft a tackle capable of starting this year.

2.7% of your annual cap limit for Hurl. I'm not even mad. Especially considering if he earns all of that (which I highly doubt he will) then it means we had a Canadian starting linebacker all year.

He's retiring.

Ellingson has apparently signed with Ottawa.

I think the comparison to Edwards was more related to the path he traveled to wind up here.

Gbill said in the chat that Bauming mentioned he heard Sears coming back as a possibility on the radio today.

Jackson got an average of 135k a year. So much for that 200k prediction.

carry on.

The draft is in May.

Except you missed the part about an impact OT, which would be the Christmas equivalent of a new car. I'd take a new car and some socks.

We might have been better off staying with January if he's who we end up with.I don't know much about him other than he's youngish at 28 years old and played a full season at RT. Is he no good? He's actually 28. But you were partially right, he used to be 25. Other than that, I don't know anything about him either other than Hamilton really didn't seem interested in bringing him back.

Be curious to see who ends up being right. Lawless has been sounding the Rogers horn all along. Pretty much everyone else I've asked says Bryant.

As one final tribute to Gary Etcheverry, we're going to sign Greg Ellingson and Stanley Bryant. But play Ellingson at LT and Bryant at WR.

The way I understand it, a 2015 deal was already signed by Elimimian sitting in a drawer somewhere. So even though his deal expired today, he already had another one lined up to be filed with the league for another one year term. Instead of filing that, BC will file a new multi-year deal. If that's the case, it makes sense why he was left off the list.

I think Sears ends up back in Winnipeg. Or with Ottawa. He'd be a GREAT player in Ottawa.

Fair enough. I'd say the days of wil Mac and Sam are almost gone anyway - lbs are interchangeableCurran is better with jones, peters is better with hall Errrr what?

IN THE CFL?!

How is that even possible? And how would it be an extension if his contract is over tomorrow? Something isn't right.

And BIG STANLEY

Walters just said there are 5 or 6 guys they've got targeted for tomorrow.

...because you need tips on how to gain weight so you can go on worker's comp?? #YourWindowToWeightGain #JustEmptyVitamins Because he's a locker room leader, an experienced veteran that could be a bridge solution while our scouts dig up a receiver and get him some experience, not to mention he's pretty much exactly the type of receiver we need?

I don't think many of us were shitting on him at all.

I think it needs to be said out loud that this kid deserves a ton of credit for coming on here and handling this thread with a ton of maturity and class. Props to you, Tristan. I think it's safe to say we're all cheering for you.
