This must be your first time experiencing news about a positive test for steroids. what do you expect him to say? “yeah I did it, oops”? The test results take time, you don’t just pee on a stick and have it turn colors. He appealed which caused a second sample to be tested. It’s no wonder the process took time.

Everyone is going to defend this because it’s Andrew Harris and we are Bomber fans but let’s get real. He tested positive because he did it. They don’t just throw Dianabol into supplements, you don’t just whoopsie daisy your way into consuming it. The reality is whatever he was taking to mask it, he messed up and he got popped. And I say that as a huge Harris fan. But let’s not cover our eyes and ears and ignore reality just because he’s a Bomber.

Riders are a pretty good team, they have some weapons and some weak spots. I think the Bombers have what it takes to get the W, but I’m logically assuming a split just like I do every year. I feel like we have the advantage at the line of scrimmage on both sides of the ball, which is huge for us in a battle of backup quarterbacks. The key will be whether or not the environment gets to Streveler. either way, I’ll be there to find out again this year. Favorite weekend of the year for me.

Streveler hasn’t played a traditional QB role for us yet this year. You’re confusing change of pace gimmick QB for actual QB. He hasn’t been asked to sit in the pocket and go through progressions in a traditional sense, there’s a reason he operates the way he does when he comes in the game. The coaching staff believes Nichols is a better player, why would they bring Streveler in for a different look if they wanted him to play the same way?

People forget MBT used to be a Bomber. Wouldnt be the worst thing we could do, but for now let’s roll with Strevy. Give him a week where the focus is getting him ready as the starter and I think we are going to see good things.

Sorry, what exactly is good about those three second half drives? One was for -4 yards, one was for 8 and the TD drive was a short field thanks to the Willie INT. Even then, it was one nice throw by Nichols, not exactly sustained success. He basically got 4 more points than what was automatic. 13 of a possible 21 on short fields. Not great. Don’t get me wrong, I don’t think Nichols is terrible. I just don’t think he is good.

Here’s the reality with Nichols ... he had a better than average (for him) night and tossed up three balls that were good looking - one to Lawler for a nice little gain, one to Woli that was just not executed and one to Matthews that the CGY DB made a good play on. Rest of the game? Safe garbage. So predictable. Not scaring anyone. Not stomp on your throat, smash mouth, prove you can stop us, not nothing. Equal parts LaPolice and Nichols go into the conversation of why our O is so inept, but no matter what blame you wanna place where, the reality is our offense sucks. Matthews didn’t forget how to play wideout, Lucky Whitehead hasn’t suddenly just forgotten how to be a weapon ... etc, etc, etc. We don’t use our weapons. If Grant doesn’t put two in the end zone tonight, we lose handily. Our O has been **** for a minimum of three games and the combo of play calling / QB play is showing absolutely zero signs of improvement. We may finish 13-5 but this year is not going to be a Grey Cup year. as an aside, I always find it funny that people will crap on Willie Jefferson and justify it by singling out the odd notable play here and there when he isn’t elite but they’ll turn a blind eye to how atrociously mediocre Nichols is.
