I don't think the budget on players is any different than any other team. Every team spends about the same with the cap. Why have the Bombers had so much turnover since 2008? Is there a team with a worse overall record since 2008? Losing brings change. Can't argue much on the budget for GMs and coaches. Whether by design or not, we seem to hire the cheapest guys.

If that is the performance that LaPo and MOS want, then they have to go. Now.

Trestman is still the OC in Baltimore, is he not? Coordinators in the NFL make 800k + US. Even if we gave him both head coach and GM, he'd have to basically want to take a pay cut for the sake of running his own team again.

I usually only update the MBB list once a year before the season starts, but I never did update it this year. No other reason than that.

We seem to have a whole bunch of those guys with that kind of potential right now. If he can't beat out the competition and is stuck on the Moose and that means we have him for less time, then it means we've been playing better players. Not going to worry about losing a guy whose potential is a solid 4th line winger.

He probably gets one more game because it's an away game. Fire him after that blowout to try and get the fans excited for something before the next home game. Dont want to waste that opportunity for the fans to see the new coach lose on tv. However, either way, not sure the fans will be back. They won't get any more mulligans until they can put a winning team on the field.

Put me in the camp that believes that keeping O’Shea at this point is going to be more detrimental than firing him. It is game 5 of an 18 game season, and look at how this team is playing. They come out flat and are tentative every game. In all of our losses this year, we have pretty much lost the game by half time. I have pretty much accepted that the season is done, but I can’t sit through another 13 games of the same. An interim coach may not mean any more wins, but it better put some fire back into the plays of some of the players. O’Shea is at that all too common point that we’ve seen many times in the past, especially with Tim Burke. He no longer has the answers and he no longer knows what to do to fix and change things. If firing him means hiring his mid-season replacement in the off season, that is a failing on management and shouldn’t be the reason we keep him.

I didn't even think you could buy season tickets after the first game. I went to the season ticket page and clicked on the buy season tickets link and this is the error I get. No such error when I try to buy single game tickets, so I don't think the service is down. In fact, if you go in through the buy tickets link through the landing page of the website, season tickets aren't even an option. Found an interesting article from back in 2012 that looked at the impact of firing a coach mid-season in all 4 of the major sports.
