Tiny759 reacted to The Unknown Poster in Covid-19
You know there is a lot of space between "posting and discussing news" and "panicking", right?

I think it's disgusting, actually. He has an infant child. That's when partisan politics is just sad.

Damn the world supply chains. We have to be more self sufficient. We have to manufacture more in Canada relying less on the whims of other country's politics.

You're a real piece of work. Glad others here get to see it.

Ok well maybe you didn’t read it good enough. It says 214 deaths out of 12924 cases in canada. That’s a 1.65% death rate, not a 0.017% death rate. Huge difference.

Question, how are you calculating the death rate?

This is contrary to the what the federal government has stated. They say in a "best case scenario," social distancing will last until at least July. Covid will not be over in May. It might peak at that point, but there will still be many infections at that point, especially if we don't properly flatten the curve.

Covid will be over in Canada by May...
And if your numbers are true - global leaders will be forced to decide between economy and elderly... they will choose the economy. The world is not staying closed for six months.
One more month in Canada and maybe two in States - if that.

Lol I don't think you know what xenophobic means and it isn't racist at all. I feel like I'm on riderfans with some of the bumpkins on this board.
I don't think China is our enemies, but I do agree that they are not our friends. Strictly business and yes China does not have the same ideology as we do and clearly will not change how they are any time soon. They'll be nice with Canada as long as it's beneficial for them.

I sincerely hope that the Globalism experiment of countries without borders, refugees allowed to cross unfettered into sovereign countries & supply chain management where we see both China & the US dictate what & how much countries get regarding ventilators & N95 masks. We need to take care of ourselves first as a country. We need to bring manufacturing back to Canada. Make things here like we used to. 3M has a manufacturing plant in Canada but it doesn't make masks. That has to change. It may be cheaper to manufacture goods in China but I'd be content to pay more knowing Canadians had jobs & we had enough to supply all Canadians with products we used to make here. I'm of the belief that will all change in the coming years. Do we want to be dependent upon the whims of dictators, unfriendly governments & nutcases in the White House when it comes to our healthcare & food supply chains? I don't.

When Trudeau goes back inside, the doors close after his pressers everyday & the puppet strings are put down by Gerald Butts, does Justin go to his den & watch reruns of Friends all day long?

If true there is no sports or concerts or large scale gatherings until there is a vaccine. Which could be over a year from now.

Brexit was fueled by Russian and right-wing disinformation and not well though-through by those who voted for it. Boris Johnson appealed to the same racist and xenophobic voters as Trump did in the US. The Labour Party had the poor judgement to elect a leader with the personality of a loofah.

If you have had something stolen, you should report it to the RCMP
