Pretty good first half.....now the dreaded 3rd quarter...... Please let's win a 3rd quarter......

I am throwing my hat into the ring, that this d-line looks bad.....I get it we need to meet roster requirements......and I get it special teams' coverage is important....... But....the reality is we are razor thin on Canadians, so much so that it is affecting our overall roster talent....we no longer have the luxury of deep Canadian depth, that can play at a high level.....in saying that something has to be "less than ideal" this week, we apparently chose that to be the d-line....it's bold but I firmly stand on the hill of probably not the best way to manipulate the roster.......Do we really need so many LB's......If one Imp. LB comes off, we can roster a better D-line.....A better D-line vs. less support on special teams....Is Vibert good enough to be a 7th O-lineman, is so Vanterpool comes off Vibert goes on, this balances the ratio requirements so Korn can go off and an import D-line can go on.......I am not privy to what goes on behind closed doors, but to me I see either of those moves as being "better" roster management....... Let's hope Korn, plays with a burning fire to prove cutting him was wrong and elevates his game beyond his ceiling this week......but boy I do question the roster this week......

Yes, but situational awareness.....I like an attempt at times, but almost the end of the half really tight game, in field goal range, not the time...IMO....you run, you keep the clock going. Yes I understand they are good against the run, even if you don't get it you are set up for a FG....IMO I am seeing a pattern of Hogan going against traditional thinking and trying only what I can describe as trying to be too smart.....There are times, but there is also times to just stick with tried and true traditional thinking....at least this is my ,2 cents

Well, it was a hot, but fun atmosphere at the game ...we made it exciting at the end..,..but the lack of a run game....before the half on 2nd down.....all we should have done is run Brady.....that Playcall IMO was the game.....

Good news on Pearsons

D line wasn't at its best.......Houston should help in the secondary.... Online did well, Zach played smart.....playcalling was BS until we gave up the goofy crud and went to Brady.....please Hogan learn from today.....wear down a defence and win the clock....you can take over the 2nd half.....

Go to simple offensive plays, run the ball and now we drive.....novel idea try this early THEN try PA.....let's not try PA before we establish a run game......

Two big plays given up......and some goofy offensive at calls.....and a couple bad Injuries.... Zach Hada mostly good half, Brady when gets the ball has looked great..... Let's see can we stop the big play against, can we eliminate the goofy offensive play calls, get Brady more balls and field enough receivers..... Or do we hit our 3rd quarter doink.....

Stupid goofy ......playcalling....over and over.....and over and over it's not working....just goofy calls ....enough already

Ford,still even with the Injuries we have, I stand by he would not be worth his contract. Lawler in hindsight was a "miss" even at his contract value......

It seemed to improve the last couple games, hopefully it continues to improve

A couple games ago, we had Strev throw into the endzone...too cute...not smart....we should have ran on first ran on second and kicked a FG at worst on 3rd, while eating up clock This past game we do an ultra conservative short yardage play on 2nd and 3 for no real good reason....then we try a what 57-yard field goal.....when all we needed to do was run down the clock and try and pin them deep with a punt....oh by the way with what 40ish seconds left and their back-up QB in...and they would have needed a TD to tie Those are terrible calls, terrible, too safe but yet to aggressive all at the same time......Just play the odds...

I want to shout out, Schmeckle, Vaval, Allen and Ball..... guys who all made plays that were not really expected to.....this is what we need is for some "new" or unexpected names to step up......

I may be in the minority here, but from what I see...once Schmekle and Person were added for rotation on teh D-line, the overall play of the unit improved...optimistic Woods can add even another notch up. Since we re-jigged our LB's I feel that they have been playing well, T Johns has surprised the heck outta me Benching bridges and moving Parker away from safety also seemed to improve the secondary, Parker is hurt, Bonds is done, but I will say although a small sample size Allen and Vaval show great promise, and Lawson jr, from my eye test has been an improvement from Bridges. In saying this, yes we still gave up an explosion play, and had a few slopy tackles, but.....I just have a feeling that this defence once a few guys settle in could become a really good unit Or specials are great...finally On offence though, I am not optimistic about, is it Hogan, is it the O-line, lack of receiver talent...is Brady more hurt then we know.....maybe, but many "questionable" calls...Some real work needs to be done with this unit

Either run....or if Brady is hurt....rest him....this one dimensional offence will not work

Sure a couple borderline penalties ...but Allen is all over plays!

Vaval...Allen...Ball..Schmekle...are balling out

That was a hell of a specials play by Ball...maybe he does have some value

How close to being game ready is Woods?

Sorry to sound like Mr. Negative...and usually I do try and be positive...but from what I have seen from our offence this year, I have virtually no faith in them showing up or making a play when needed. I do think the defence has improved and is evolving even with some key injuries, I do believe they can compete with the other teams and keep us in games now. Our specials are doing great.....but.....I just can't see us winning many games with this offence...sorry

IMO we need one more Imp. D tackle/nose...With Person, Willy and Vaughters the front improved, Lawson when healthy is good, Jake or Schmekle can rotate with Lawson, Adams has looked decent, Woods is unknown at this point, but IMO we need to look for one more interior Import...start bringing them in for looks. Then when Woods is healthy, lose one LB and add him. Holm and Nichols are really good, Parker and Bonds are out...Vaval has shown well, Lawson needs more time to judge his play, time to look at Woodsby and Allen, at least one should make the roster and back-up at worst, and we should add one more imp DB to the PR. But safety....Parker experiment failed, Kramdi experiment is on the verge, Kelly maybe...but last game didn't inspire confidence...maybe we someone in house, if not we need to do something... Really IMO that is all we are missing to be a really good defence

On defence, find a real safety...is Cam Allan that guy? Is Woodsby, Vaval, Shay or Smith, Holm, J Jones or ??? Bring in someone if we can't find one in house. Take off one LB and add on more DL.....Is Woods healthy..... I really believe that a couple minor tweaks, and one needs to be a real safety and Youngers defence can and will be good again.
