  1. I think with what is on that roster we just very well may have the worst defensive front seven in the league.....when you look at starters and depth I think it would be hard to find one worse. I am really concerned with only Bennet as a DE to rotate....I just can't make sense of how thin we are
  2. We didn't really have intensity, our offence dropped a couple catchable balls that were prob. two TD's. Our O-line could not establish a run game, we threw a pick 6. Our specials were not good enough, we bobbled a few returns, our punting was mediocre, and then defensively we allowed the underneath stuff all game again and had no answer for a mobile QB. In no league is it acceptable to allow a QB two long running TD's. Props to Crum and to Dyce, they deserved it today Oh well on to Edm. we better play "PO'd" next week
  3. And that's the problem with VAJ, he looks like the best qb ever to step on the field one minute and the next he serves up 6 picks. I still believe BC is a very good team but any given game is going to come down to which VAJ shows up Kelly seems to be settling in nicely and TO looks good. Defending GC champs and the only undefeated team, as of now they are the standard all other team's are looking up to, yes even us..... This looks to be an exciting season with 3 really good team's and a couple surprise teams looking pretty good in Sask and Mtrl. Plus Ott could move into that category with Masoli back??
  4. Could you imagine the emotional roller coaster Murphy went on in the span of like 4 plays....
  5. Clements seems to be "figuring it out" IMO he is starting to look good. Hard to know assignments but Darby looked to have corrected his play? D-line as whole unit- Willie though was extra last night Castillo-instant roster upgrade from game 1 BO-not just over 100 rushing but punishing hard running, I also noticed he used to success the patented AH spin falling forward move! Shout out to #16 (Kelly?) for some real good special teams work
  6. Voodoo, could you move my post a couple above over there as well. Sorry I think it was post that started the "derailment"
  7. Much better all around, gave up one sack, got pressure consistently of Fajardo and ran the heck out of the ball today....dam the thorax! Not super happy with the specials, but it didn't cost us anything. Agree that Swaray is raw but has big potential. Guy showed he can hit!!
  8. Fair enough, WFH can be good for some. I will agree that some people are "useless" at home or in the office. I will also die on the hill that WFH has made management more difficult to identify, help and redirect certain staff. Some people work better in a WFH model, others do not and unfortunately there is no perfect scenario.
  9. As mentioned to another poster, I am not for or against WFH and both the office and home have benefits. But I am very familiar with certain issues that WFH has exasperated. As you stated unfortunately many individuals didn't work a full 8 hours while "being supervised" in an office environment. For SOME this is worse in a WFH environment and at this time the Unions are giving them extra protection making it difficult for management to act and correct. This does cause delays. Yes you are completely correct many delays were in place before this and you are probably more accurate in your assessment that the sheer amount of crimes in MB would realistically have a greater chance of causing delays for Lawler.
  10. No MOST are....however SOME don't. Yes this is true in the office and was like that pre-covid, and I am sure is like that in most work environments. But in my experience certain individuals have pushed it further and done even less with WFH and hybrid then they did before. Management especially within the Gov't has hands tied at this time with large Unions protecting these individuals. Again I am not advocating for or against WFH, I am only speaking of my personal experience, within Gov't management and some of the difficulties with both WFH and hybrid scheduling, that do contribute to delays. Perhaps this has a factor in Lawler's delays, perhaps not.......
  11. If Lawler is waiting for something Federal, good luck. With the hybrid 3 in the office 2 at home or full WFH model the Fed's are employing across departments, things are so far behind and not improving. I can say first hand that the federal Gov't has some amazing hard working dedicated employees, but in the same breathe I can also honesty say first hand that there are many who are not. CoVid certainly changed the work dynamic within the gov't and a number of employees have used that and their huge Union backing to manage to continue to get full time pay with barely part time work. It is unfortunate that some people are doing it, but they are and it is/has caused massive delays in most thing gov't.
  12. Agadosi and Mc Crae are very differently built receivers, but I like the versatility Mc Crae may be able to bring. It could be Mc Crae and that versatility are a better fit for what the coaches see against Mtrl? I also hope Lawson and Jeffcoat can spell in, Even if Jeffcoat only gets worked in slowly and only takes a handfull of snaps. The guy can't stay healthy but for a handfull of plays a game he can make a difference. He is like a NHRA drag car motor, you only get a few passes before they need a rebuild, but damn that pass they do is high level stuff
  13. So far it seems like we have a few good teams in BC, Wpg, and T.O, with Sask, Cal. Mtrl flirting with being a good team and then we have Ott, Edm, and Hammy who don't look anywhere close to being good this year. So who is the real top tog, BC, Wpg, T.O And who is the true bottom feeder Edm or Hammy
  14. If it's status quo for the week and we don't get any help off the injury list it will be interesting to see what kind of success Fajardo has against us? If we don't manage lot's of hurries and pressures against Fajardo with that o-line then I don't think anyone can dispute that the D-line is not good enough.
  15. Everyone mostly agrees that we need a better D-line and many believe we actually have most pieces to do it in house. A solid argument can be made for that. Some have mentioned roster management which ties very much into the above issue, and unfortunately the d-linemen we drafted have not yet been anywhere near the level we need them to be. Injuries are are factor but as I think Booch mentioned why did we not bring in more competition? Hindsight is 20/20 and we could play the what-ifs game all day, the reality IMO is that we are not good enough TODAY along the D-line. So the contending for top spot in the West question is what do we do about now?
  16. My 2 cents Halls defence needs pressure and our D-line is not good enough to give what he needs. IF we improved the D-line the LB's and DB's would be improved
  17. credit to the Lions they came I to our hours end kicked our booties up and down the field Only bonus is my wife looks good on her jersey and the tequila tastes gooiioid
  18. tEqUiLa is at least making tv this online look competent tonight. ..fiddle farts make it a double
  19. Well...I figured BC would make a game of it, but not this much of a game.... Offence needs to stretch the field or commit to Brady...something different needed Defence ugly, ugly, ugly, ugly, ugly, ugly 2nd half is a new game, we need to be a completely different team in the 2nd half We can still do it but we need improvement across the board. VAJ needs to see some pressure Db's need to make anomaly or three Online need at get flippen mean Let's f..n goooo!
  20. 23 other guys have to play with Brady's intensity and physicality today and we will run away with this game! Is he ever playing a physical hard nosed game today!!!
  21. Honestly BC is playing with more intensity Wpg may be the better team but BC is playing like they want it more We need to calm down and figure out how to keep Colaris clean or we are in trouble. Let's not kid ourselves they are kicking the tar outta us physically so far
  22. Bc has talent, they have a pretty good roster. A roster with enough talent to win games. If VAJ is on his game and can keep his emotions in check, he will make plays on us. The Bc defence is riding high after a 0 last week. Sask. made a game of it until we pulled away at the end, I would expect BC to make a game of it today. However, I still see us as the better team and history says we are pretty darn good at home lately..... GO BLUE
  23. Funny you mention that, I was thinking wow, he isn't the receiver losing his temper and causing an issue this time....Don't worry he will have his moment this year I would guess
  24. Half the O-line that wasn't that good to start with and now Bo "probably" injured, yikes hard to find a silver lining for a Hammy fan....your team looks to compete for top spot in your division, and you come out 0-2, you have receivers fighting each other during the game by week two, appear to have discipline issues and you tack on injury concerns...I guess at least they can say they have amongst the best depth along the D-line, maybe they can convert Sayles fulltime😉
