My two cents... We did not lose because of Thomas We did not lose because of the two points given up on the kickoffs We lost because we gave up 3 explosion plays and took one massive PI penalty.....outside of that our defence while not outstanding did enough...so why do we keep giving up the big plays, correct me if I am wrong but we are worst in the league in this are we not? The Parker to safety experiment didn't work, the Kramdi to safety experiment doesn't seem to be working and Kelly didn't exactly exude confidence back there.......I may be wrong but I feel better safety play and perhaps one less LB and one more DL and our defence "can" be good. However while our defence contributed our offence wears IMO the biggest goat horns.....I didn't find Zach played terrible, no INTs but only ever seemed able to find the checkdown open, once Cal. adjsuted and covered Brady he started taking sacks instead of throwing INT's.....I didn't think the o-line played that bad Zach had a pocket and even on many sacks he had time, or ran out of the pocket into a defender.....Brady ran darn hard...but the offence stunk....why...we know our receivers are not great, but It has to be more than that......I just don't think what Hogan is doing is working, and we don't have the luxury of waiting to see if it will......

Whether talent or coaching ...our offence is not good enough.

Dline with this rotation looks good Lbs looked improved, DB's seemed better O line didn't look good Receivers looked ok....but the reality is the overall talent and types of skill sets is lacking, so even looking good isn't really good enough Strev is a warrior..but I am sure he will admit this was far from his best Brady ran well Specials other than Cooley's confusion looked really good ..Vaval....wow But why....why....why late in the game deep in T.O's end did we throw a deep corner route....to a what 5'9 receiver that was well covered.....why, why, why.....who called that.....run Brady twice....run the clock and at worst kick the 3......Either Strev or Hogan have to wear a BIG set of goat horns 🐐 for that incredibly stupid play call

DON'T abandon the run, if you are down, still run, if it isn't working, block harder, try a different gap/misdirection, heavy sets, whatever.....but don't abandon it......I want to see time consuming punishing drives...We are making it too easy on opposing defensive fronts...be nasty, play till the whistle, push the pile...be the hammer, not the nail.....and stick with it!!! On defence communicate, communicate, and communicate some more and stop the self-inflicted harm.....

Well, I am surprised.....on paper the defence looks good...glad teh Parker at safety experiment is finished...all things I have heard is that Kramdi is a very smart x/o guy....I am hoping this leads to improved communication. I think Griffen will look really good. Not sure in J.Jones will see many reps but I feel if he does he may be really hard to keep off....I liked what the d-line did with some more rotation, would like to see them build on last week.... On offence....yikes....let's hope Loften is ready.....interesting that Cooley came on...unless he was "potentially being scooped" of the PR this is an interesting move.....We seem to have two really good possession guys in Corcoran and Clercious, but Stearns, Demski and Wheetfall are IMO not number 1 targets......so, an underwhelming group overall.....Kinda unfortunate Strev. didn't get "real reps" due to air quality....OK so what did Mitchel do...or not do...yikes something going on there.....Let's just let Brady and possibly Cooley eat......

Probably if Stan is ready, we go back to week one O-line Mitchel for Case??? he has to draw in now.....right.....right.... I would like to see J Jones for Ayers....Person proved he IS an actual end...and Ayers has been getting what a couple reps a game and specials....Jones can do that and maybe more.... Vaval with ones over Bridges...if Bridges is "knicked" to the 1 game perhaps Allen or Woodbey backs up....

We have seen a few changes on defence, in particular along the d-line....it seemed to improve the group......Now the backfield, they appeared to bench Bridges for Vaval. and Vaval looked decent in a small sample size, he seems to close quick.....I like what Parker brings but perhaps he isn't a safety. maybe put him back where he played well......I think though the the scheme is too much.....multiple times we have witnessed outright confusion...simplify it......hate to go back to the well, but maybe BA is still in shape..Is Cam Allen worth the risk....How close is Kelly to health Wilson, Bonds, Parker, Holm, Nichols, Vaughters, Person, Adams, Lawson, Willie, Griffen have proven that they can play and be good....They aren't looking good so what is it...they all didn't forget or lose ability's.....Kramdi and T Jones have had flashes, and while Jake get's a ton of heat on here he is fine to rotate in......J Jones has shown he can ball, Maybe try Ayers off and him on.....The two new LB's in Shay an Smith have now got their feet wet in specials, can one or both have some rotation we dress them anyway.....Makonzo has started practicing again, he could help.....I think we can turn the D around without blowing it up..... On offence, sorry but Zach has been bad, IMO time to give Strev. the reigns for a week or so with true 1st team reps and playcalling.....damn it if Brady is healthy USE him.........The O-line needs to figure out pass blocking,....the receivers are not getting it done Stearns tries and has been fine but is not a 1,2 receiver, Clercius is good for what he is, Demski is what he always is, Wheetfall has looked mostly good....but none are a true #1 barely a #2.... is Mitchel that guy...maybe but we will never know with him sitting in the doghouse all year....Corcoran looks better than I expected...honestly he has outplayed many of the Imports we have trotted out...I think Dalton will be a next year discussion, this is the biggest spot I believe we either need to see if Mitchel can fill, or we need to bring someone in..... Specials other than return, but I thought Case had improved from last year.....have looked really good...... What we are doing is not working...let's not go drastic and look at firing coaches and GM's....but something needs to change....or those conversations will gain traction.....the season is salvageable...but for love of all things holy don't run out the exact same roster and game plans next week.........

Sheehans punting looked good again Penalties were bad Receivers didn't make any great catches, overall looked bad O-line was bad overall- we seem to have a poor scheme/ability for pass blocking The weather was bad Zach was ugly, really ugly this game...I think this is his 3rd maybe 4th consecutive multi interception game in a row... The entire d backfield was beyond ugly it appeared we swapped Bridges for Vaval....Vaval looked perhaps decent...IMO the Parker experiment at safety should conclude Communication was very ugly... Chemistry was ugly Playcalling was ugly...both offence and defence, especially the lack of involving a run game AGAIN...and on defence it is now pretty evident that whatever Younger is calling is too confusing for the guys we have playing Turnovers...correct me if I am wrong but I think we have like something like 17 or 18 turnovers the last three games... and of all types returns, ints, fumbles, turn over of downs Case's injury was ugly, If I was a betting man he is done for the season...he may not be lighting it up but let's show respect that he hurt himself trying to help our team...

Our D backfield is really bad ...The communication, chemistry understanding is completely absent.... It is like watching 4/5 athletes playing for the first time together for three straight weeks..... Ughhhhhh

Yes!!! that's a key I didn't think of....guys are thinking and not reacting it seems. That instinctive movement is not there and that millisecond to think is all it takes to be outta position or a step behind.....

Yes......it's like I said, we seem to to be missing the communication aspect....the communication has seemed to be poor......I think this is also amplifying guys being slower. It's so frustrating because on defence we have been "mostly" healthy

Stearns and Case etc. are not terrible, but they are not what we need......They can be fine in the right situation like WBBfan says a 5th forgotten about guy that can use the elusiveness for the odd play...I don't believe that they are #2 quality every down guys...maybe they could be one day but today they are not.....I think I have come to the realization that I am not mad at the individual, it's the situation, yes they "are all starters" but Ayers is not an end, Case is not a #2 receiver, Stearns is not a #2 receiver, Clercious is not a #2 receiver, and Demski nor Wheatfall are not a #1 receiver...Wheatfall may grow into it...maybe.....Heck Wilson if we get him back is not a #1 receiver yet. I get injuries happen and Schoen being out again sucks....but we can't IMO play guys in positions that they not capable of.......well actually you can in say the 5th receiver spot or in certain formations as an example perhaps having Ayers in almost as hybrid a 4 LB set. But you can't play them in elevated positions or we see what we saw the last few games.....Look I like Ayers, but he does not do well at end, I like Stearns and Case if used properly, all three as examples have skill sets.....but we are failing them trying to for lack of a better term square peg, round hole them. Speaking of round peg square hole, without BA and Biggie, someone needs to communicate better on D...we are missing the leadership/communication...far too often this year we are seeing communication errors......example Holm on two guys...but there have been many......how many crossing routes against us have we seen our guys make an error....I am not sure who it is this year, but if it is Parker and Jones, they need to do better...if it someone else they need to do better, it's week 8........this is preseason mistakes, someone needs to step up and be the guy.....look athleticism is great, but certain roles require other skill sets and it appear to me we are missing many of these other skill sets..... Person got in, and got a few snaps, perhaps he continues, and we solve the end issue, what we are going to do with the receivers is tough with Schoen out (6 gamed), and Demski being used like he is it's only a matter of time till he gets knicked...I am unsure...... I am also not ready to write off Strev. yet......but he needs guys he can throw to, guys he can build some chemistry with.......that's another thing I have noticed a lack of chemistry between our QB's and our receivers....,How many picks...and heck pick sixes has this cost us this year....

There were so many vital mistakes, mistakes a team should not be making in it's 5th game. D-line coming clean through the A gap against us, Holm covering two receivers with no help, Bridges stopping and letting his guy blow by him, Forced balls from QB's, receivers falling down, selfish penalties, apparent lack of energy......... Even with all that our offence while bad almost had enough to take the lead in the second half.....I really like Strev but that pick was the end of the offence last night...all the wind came outta the sails right then....on offence we had our top OL out, our top receiver out, and lost our top QB early......at least one can make an excuse for them...the defence though....all healthy...and all terrible....I can't name one defensive player from last night worth praising.....not one.....at least on offence you can say Demski and Brady played damn good, on specials Castillo played damn good, our coverage was good, and Vaval and Case looked capable at returns....that's it, maybe the long snapper.....even the whole energy and aura looked bad last night.....it ruined what something like a 17 game win streak after the bye......yuck

We are a really good team, we are still one of the best in the league, yes we have a couple guys long in the tooth, and yes rookies don't get on our roster as quick as some other teams, and yes for some unknown to us reason we don't dress a real back-up DE.......and we definitely discuss these concerns, as this forum is for, but with so much negativity in the mainstream news, fires in our backyard and the crap going on in other parts of the world etc. I like to try and focus on the positives where I can. -A win has us tied for first, far better than last year's start..... -The teams finances are the envy of the league... -We are facing down our 8th sellout.... -We have improved beer choices at the game..... -When we go to Sask. we get to leave after..... Go Blue, we will be rested and have solid film to work off, let's get back in W column!

I believe we can get better pressure with better rotation. We need another actual DE on the roster. Looking at the forecast 24C 90% chance of rain and wildfire air advisories.....if we are under 8 and even able to play, it will be Smokey and humid, guys will will need rotation on Friday.

Dillon Mitchel, must have something up, As DT mentioned we tried him at slot and it didn't work and we have never gone back. It has to be something. Case is going into year two, this should be a golden opportunity for him, a chance many never get. I really hope he makes the most of it, do I have some reservations....yes, but let's hope he gives us some production, honestly Schoen hasn't exactly been lighting up the stat sheets himself.....My biggest concern is Zach now going to get hyper focused on Demski again.....

Two question ... Did Ray trip on his sack....it looked like on the replay he leg whipped and tripped....did anyone else see it or did I miss see it? Why did the endzone pick and fumble not end up Cal. Ball?
