Far, FAR worse QBs than Streveler have won Grey Cups. With far worse supporting casts too. Not saying it’s likely but it’s far from impossible. There are no juggernauts in the league this season.

What I'm concerned about is the stubbornness of both our HC & OC & that they won't even try to sign another FA qb come February.  That they won't change the offense & the way plays are called. Things need to change but they won't.

Being able to run is fundamental? I'm not even going to try & explain it to you. Let someone else waste 3 minutes of their life.

I see Chris Streveler with the same upside as Ken Hobart. Everybody kept waiting for Hobart to grow as a passer but it never happened but he was a beast as a running qb. Big, tough & physical. Never amounted to much other than being a career back up for the Ti Cats because he couldn't throw.

I read a post over on the rider site complaining about our attendance at the Als game. What kind of low life does this after the storm we went through. I for one am getting sick and tired of holier than thou rider fans telling other cities are beneath them in the CFL hierarchy. The riders are the only game in town! Of course they are going to get tremendous support, there is nothing else to spend your entertainment dollar on! Let’s hope the Bombers meet them in the playoffs and lay a beat down on them prairie pumpkins!

It will take a miracle to finally convince some people that Nichols isn't close to a top tier QB in any facet. Streveler has two bad games and suddenly forget the dozens of Nichols' bad to mediocre performances. Not that Streveler is a saviour but Nichols is no better than the 7th best QB in the league at best. Mitchell, Reilly, Masoli, Arbuckle, Evans and even Adams are better. Hell, I think Fajardo is pretty terrible but even he is probably better.

Personally, I don't care one way or the other.  But...
When someone had a scoop about something that was obviously legit, but the Head Coach flatly denies it and presents it as an impossibility, and basically says the media is out to lunch...
...then a few days later it turns out to be true.  
All he had to say was...yes...we have made some inquiries.  
It simply does not look good, from an organization that has usually had a good public image.
