I've ragged on about Osh & Walters now for nearly 3 seasons. It's to the point that I'm beginning not to care anymore. The Bombers have become an Old Boys Club. Those 2 sit around the fire in their housecoats & slippers drinking sherry & talking about the good old days of 2019 & 21. The Bombers could lose 100-0 & no one from assistant coaches to equipment manager would be held accountable or be fired.

I'd normally click Like but I take no joy in Goalie or anyone else agreeing with me on this. It's just sad. A lot of us knew last November bringing Osh back was a huge mistake. .

Osh knows he'll be paid for another 44 regular season games. He has no worries.

So, if Fajardo beats us tonight & plays well. what's the excuse gonna be from the minions here, "Oh, he got lucky?" Man, certain people just get bent over the things he says. Must be hard for some here to wrap their head around the fact Fajardo beat us in the last few seconds to win a Grey Cup. What's our excuse? We had none. We couldn't hold a lead for another twenty seconds. We have a head coach who flaps his gums all the time saying that all our problems are easily fixable. Which are nothing but lies. That's okay.

Instead of replacing the pieces as ned be since 2021, they just let the players age out but still played them even though they couldn't perform anymore. We never replaced Stevie Richards who left 5 years ago. We played a buch of Cheetos instead.

AC just may be the next Head Coach in the CFL. Just stay away from Ottawa. If he goes somewhere then go somewhere where he has a chance to be a success. What's Dinwiddie got to lose? They haven't won a game with Maier so make the change at qb. Throw whatever fans are left a bone instead of doing nothing.

What was wrong with Jim Spavital? He came in after the Joe Zaleski years when the team had no talent or leadership. Zaleski was a joke of a head coach. When he hired Spavital in 1970, GM Earl Lunsford gave him nothing to work with & the Bombers went 2-14. Then in 1971, Lunsford actually went to work & traded for QB Don Jonas, Center Bob Swift, Flanker Jim Thorpe & TE Paul Markle. Lunsford also drafted Receiver Bob Kraemer, Receiver, DB Peter Ribbins, FB Clay McEvoy & Kicker Walt McKee. Signed free agent Halfback Mack Herron, FB Ed Williams, DB Tom Oberg, Receiver Paul Williams, DT Jim Sullivan & Safety Grady Cavness. They made the playoffs at 7-8-1 in 1971. The first time since 1966. The Bombers shot up to 10-6 in 1972 & finished first hosting the Western Final. The Riders fluked out a win on a bad ref's call in the 1972 Western Final to beat us. Then, in the following off season, Lunsford got rid of Mack Herron & Jim Thorpe on minor possession charges for weed. Herron got a suspended sentence in May of 73 but Lunsford still released them. Thorpe just disappeared, never to be seen or heard from again. Herron signed with the New England Patriots & promptly set an NFL record for combined yardage by a player (rushing, receiving, punt & kickoff returns). The CFL leading rusher & receiver in 1972... both gone just like that with the stroke of a pen by Lunsford. Their best OL in Guard Bob Lueck retired & All Star MLB Mickey Doyle broke his leg in the 72 Western final. He wasn't ready to play & the 73 season was a wash for him. He ended up with the Stamps after being released & never returned to form after the injury. The Bombers dropped to last place at 4-12 & Lunsford fired Spavital. Lunsford tore the team apart but it wasn't his fault. He took no responsibility for that. He never adequately replaced the players he cut or retired. He blamed coaching or lack thereof for the Bombers finishing last that season. Lunsford overall was a prick as a GM. Renowned for not treating his players very well. Which was typical back then by GM/s all across the league. I always thought Spavital got the short end of the stick from Lunsford who took no accountability for the pratfall in 1973. We then went 3 seasons (1973-75) before we made the playoffs again in 1976. Spavital was alright.

"Nothing lasts forever". You're absolutely right. Instead, everyone got new 3 year deals. We needed to make wholesale changes as it was time. Nope. we clung to the past.

That Trinity.... Oh boy....

The guy threw for 5,296 yards & 36 touchdowns with only 11 interceptions in 2025. He had a 68.2 completion average with a QBR of 107.2. This season... 2026... after just 4 games he had thrown for 1,197 yards & 9 tds with just one interception. He had a 78.2 completion percentage with a QBR of 102.6. The Ti Cats were serious contenders in the East had Mitchell stayed healthy. Not his fault that Milanovich & the entire organization didn't plan for a long term injury to the guy. Their entire season was flushed downt the toilet becausae of it. Your post is about as laughable as Noeller's "expert" take on Fajardo.

But... he was the most awesomest player in the draft. The Trinity said so. Yeah, well that wagon train left the station two months ago.

Kurleigh Gittens Jr & others were available in free agency but we never signed him or anyone else.

How can guys managing & coaching at the pro level be so dense?? Trinity? Spit. No miracles will be performed with this team.

Yet, our reject Wheatfall has more yards than a sulking & indifferent Kenny Lawler? He has all that talent & refuses to use it to help his qbs. Lawler has 66 catches for 452 yards & 5 tds with a 6.8 yards reception average. Like WTH??? Not worth the money he's being paid. Wheatfall has 48 catches for 498 yards & one td with a 10.2 yard reception average. Interesting stats.
