Wouldn't that be something if he WASN'T drafted & was offered a CFL contract to "prove himself"? I think Shedeur Sanders is affected by his father Deon. If you're an NFL Head Coach or GM, do you want that guy poking around your team with his entourage as well as media following them both around? The kid is talented but Deon loves the spotlight. His son has learned from his father & as a result acts entitled & spoiled. He apparently acts like a veteran NFL qb but has never thrown a single pass as a pro qb which a lot of NFL GMS don't like. That kind of behaviour rubs a lot of people the wrong way. This from an anonymous NFL scout last week. They're already making comparisons of Shedeur Sanders to Colin Paepernick. We'll see what happens today. I'm sure he'll be drafted.

TSN broadcasts are old & tired. Suitor needs to be replaced yesterday. Forde is just boring. They want a crazy Kate Bierness hosting the panel. Yet, they keep the boring Forde on tv so go figure. Lapo is way underutilized to the detriment of the viewers. No reason why they can't have another chair at the panel desk for him.

My wife hates Bierness as well. She doesn't mind the panel but thinks Bierness is awful. My wife is only a fan because I am. She didn't watch the game at all before she met me in 1985. Barely knew what the CFL was. So, she's one of the fans the league should be trying to catch. Having a host trying to be "one of the boys" with a gravelly voice won't do it. Bierness tries waaaaay too frigging hard.

I can't believe either that it's Kate Bierness producers pushing this or Laura Diakin would do the same things. She is totally different than Bierness. If the producers wanted comedy then Diakin would be the same type of host. They've had Rod Smith & others host the panel as well & it's not stupid the way Bierness is.

Broke down. Got Netflix & Disney + two weeks ago. Binge watching Yellowstone right now but it only goes to the end of Season 4. Watched 1883 & hated the ending. Just watched all of Ransom Canyon, hope it gets renewed. I'll be watching all the Star Wars series on Disney Plus. One thing about being retired, work doesn't stand in the way of binge watching TV. Lol.

And you wonder why no one outside of Winnipeg thinks this team will go anywhere or are true Stanley Cup contenders? When they serve up **** like this?? The Jets deserve to be treated with no respect by out of town NHL media. We had a chance to really lock down this series & break the back of the Blues but the Jets have no killer instinct to actually do it. Commentators were saying how the Blues were undefeated in 12 home games. That they only lost 4 games since the 4 Nations tournament. That thecoaches & players knew the Blues would come on like whirling dervishes at home. Yet... even though they knew... They. Couldn't. Stop. Them. Just like the last two playoff seasons. This is more than just another loss & we'll get over it.

Looks like the team we know in the playoffs the past 3 years. Well, Sportsnet looks like they feel the Blues will win the series.

Hellebuyck is one of the worst puck handlers in the NHL. he's been exposed in past playoff series, so what's he do?? Of course, he handles the puck. Gives it away & opens the floodgates. He played like crap tonight.

Same old Jets. Nothing has changed. We still may win this series but next round it's probably over unless they change their attitude in the playoffs.

Yeah, Laura Diakin does a great job, Calm, professional & shows a basic knowledge of the game enough that she can direct conversations to the panelists for insighful answers. She doesn't go off half cocked like Kate does. She should replace Bierness as permanent host. You'd also think that the panel would move around & host one game from each CFL city. The biggest regular season CFL game is the Banjo Bowl & TSN has never been here once hosting it. Instead, they go to Hamilton for LD as well as an additional three or 4 times a year. They sit in the end zone of that dinky little Texas high school football stadium they have there. What's the over/under for the panel heading out to BC Place this season for another game with Kate yelling, "ROAD TRIP!!!"

Agree. I've only watched it a few times. It just isn't interesting. Just a lot of squawking especially from the linebackers & especially the mouthy dbs.

If they want to improve the TSN panel then Kate has to go. She adds nothing to the discussion. She thinks trying to be funny will cover her lack of knowledge. It doesn't.

No, of course not. Why would Rogers Sportsnet in the 21st Century spend tens of millions on a sports radio network across Canada to build a national audience for the Blue Jays? Why would the Bombers & Jets have radio networks paying for the rights if it meant nothing? We know how much the 3 telecommunications companies love laying off staff. Anyway, it's always easy to be a Statler or Waldorf. At least wbbfan & I are knocking ideas back & forth to raise ideas for discussion about how the CFL can raise its profile across the country. What's yours? That may happen if we have another Commissioner as bad as Randy Ambrosie was. The league has to do something about the Stamps. From a city twenty years ago that averaged 30,000 fans a game & a dominant CFL team to the shell of what they are today. It's incredible how ownership just continues to thumb its nose at the City.

If anyone here is Catholic & is interested to see the inner workings of the Catholic Church how they choose a Pope thn you should watch The Shoes Of The Fisherman from 1968 starring Anthony Quinn. From all I've read the politics behind choosing a Pope is accurate even if the political intrigue in the main plot isn't. I've seen TSOTF twice & I'm not Catholic.
