It's that it feels like the team never gave itself the best chance by what they didn't do to fill the cupboard. This season was a proverbial knife to a gunfight." Yep, that's on Walters & maybe even Miller. A huge organizational blunder.

They had a great season considering where they were a year ago.

As has been said before, Walters needs to act like an actual GM with Osh. He answers to Walters. He neds to know that he has to field his best lineup every game, If he can't do that then it's time to part ways.

This past off season, Walters lost my support. We make such a big deal hosting the Grey Cup & our GM acted like it really meant nothing. Refusing to spend any money while watching a couple of big free agents walk. We all kept waiting for a big signing which never came. His sitting on his ass while blaming the CFLPA for it was the last straw for me.

Why couldn't we afford some top tier replacemnts in free agency? Remember the salary cap went up after free agency started & Walters refused to acknowledge it saying he didn't believe it was an actual increase. That the increase announced publicly would go to pensions. He blamed the CFLPA for his decision not to spend.

He should have played those downs differently. You'd think Dickenson would have told the OC to remind Adams to mind the clock.

I know you know that doesn't cut it as a fulltime GM. Danny has to be willing to move if he wants to be in charge. He can't do it from 2500 miles away.

Dressing 10 linebackers & five DL with a 3 man front with no real interior linemen on the roster really killed us. Our DC is:

No doubt the braintrust has put them on the practice roster & will now be free agents. I mean, we got Thomas, right? With Jake, don't need anyone. He's a starter.

It's the way this season unfolded. It was avoidable. I can take a losing season if we at least ried to improve this past off season. Instead we didn't do anything oher than signing Vaughters. That is inexcusable when we are a Grey Cup contending team & hosting the Grey Cup. For all the good Walters does now, he might as well live full time in Florida with McManus.

Which, if nothing changes they will feel it next season.

BC looks like the better team so far. VA looks like he hurt his leg.

Well, Wade can clean house if he wants as everyone's contracts are up so it won't affect the salary cap for coaches & admin. If he doesn't do something this year then he never will.

I just shrugged my shoulders as what happened wasn't unexpected. I have some hope that next year some significant changes will be made so I actually feel optimistic. You can't sit still as an organization. If you snooze you lose. After 12 seasons the message gets lost.

He's the Commisioner of the newly created Continental Football League. A developmental league for young players. I've always had my doubts about Danny Mac.. He could have been a GM years ago but the story goes that doesn't want to leave his home in Florida permanently. If he puts living in Florida first over running an entire organization, do we really want him running the Bombers? I don't.

We saw the same arrogance from Bo Levi when he was a rookie starter with the Stamps. He thought the gravy train would go on forever as well. Then he ssuffered a couple of back to back GC losses to inferior teams. Then came the arm & shoulder injuries. Finally being told by Dave Dickenson that he was no longer wanted & was replaced by an inferior Jake Maier. As I said, football has away of humbling these guys the longer they play. The same thing will happen to Alexander at some point.

Just before Alexander knelt, he did the bye bye wave. I get that he's excited. I mean if it was Dru Brown, he's the exact opposite. He'd have smoked a doobie on the sidelines, looked bored & then fell asleep between plays. Compared to Brown, I like that Alexander is excited as his teammates fed off that but for crissakes tone it down...

Kid needs to be put in his place & it'll happen. Alexander thinks his winning streak will go on forever & he's some kind of Superman. One thing about football, MIke. As we know, it has a way of humbling everyone. His time will come.

We have to hope Wade has figured that out.

So, Brady rushes for 1100 plus yards & he's in his prime... You want to cut or trade him? Bit of an overreaction, I'd say. If you're going to cut someone then cut Hogan who totally underutilized him this season. The problem is Hogan & not Oliveira.

They won't be talking consecutive sellouts next year if no changes at the management/coaching level are made. Wade sees what we see so let's hope they all aren't 3 BFF's.
