The scheme for Streveler would be part of the overall playbook. Just not the part zach would run. The problem isn't the change up of plays to suit Strev. It's his lack of reps in practice when Zach starts. Streveler can't refine & polish up those plays so they work. It's like moving into a new house that may be livable inside as the water, plumbing, electricity & heat have been installed but the inside hasn't been finished or painted & there's no carpet on the floor. Just the basics so the plays are rough.

Streveler can't run? He did score a TD on the ground & looked good doing it last week. I think he's getting his legs back but his arm deserted him years ago.

Just watching Titans on Netflix. Robin has turned violent who loves to badly hurt people. Blamed Batman for changing him. Afraid his violent side will eventually lead him to kill others so he left Gotham City for Detroit to start over. The scene where he stabs a bad guy in the nuts with garden shears was nasty.

Grant always played his best players even if it meant parting wih some icons like Gerry James whom he exiled to Saskatchewan in 1963. He played no favourites with anyone other than Ploen, Gray & Lewis who earned his trust. -
Zach can complete 3 passes in his sleep. Strev needs a lot more work.
-
My point is one guy hates it & another doesn't. Consult the players & nothing will ever get done. The Governors want change & they're going to get it.

Those soft chairs by the fireplace sure look comfy at the Old Boys Club. I mean, the players worked SO HARD for that win last Saturday, they need some nice chairs to sit on.

Calgary's not that far. An hour direct to Seattle from here by Westjet & Alaska Airlines. I've flown down to Seattle to see family before on a Friday afternoon & flown back Sunday night. If Seattle is having a home game, the plane is full of Calgarians both ways. I'd say a few hundrd people have Seahawks season tickets from here, Including a former player I coached as well as my orthopedic surgeon. -
With Streveler we should be using the Wildcat. We have an OC with a pee sized brain. And a Head Coach that is maybe the size of quarter. Move him & Zach around & Streveler can take direct snaps outside of the qb position in the Wildcat.

Well, Bob. Patrick Neufeld isn't upset with the changes & is willing to give them a chance. What say you, Bob? He's not upset he wasn't consulted. about it.

I won the Alberta provincial pee wee championship in 2009 as a coach using the Wing T. I had a talented 12 year old qb. I adapted the playbook from the qb being a spinner to doing RPO which he picked up & read beautifully. There was so much misdirection that we easily racked up 300 yards rushing every game. We were extremely lucky as we had 4 outstanding running backs as starters. We struggled the first couple of games going 2-3 But then going undefeated the rest of the way for the regular season, playoffs & championship game.

People are so afraid of change. The league needs to adapt. Evolution is about adaptation.

This is a move to be able to play the game in the US where the money is. There's no money in Canada. The economy is in the crapper. People don't have a lot of spending money. A team in Halifax will bring in minimal new revenue. I think a merger is in the works here. If the UFL doesn't fold, the CFL may want to be a part of that, If it folds then they can put new CFL teams in stadiums down there. I saw a picture of the new CFL field fitting perfectly in the domed stadium in St. Louis. Which means it'll fit in almost every UFL stadium except (maybe) the one in Dallas that plays in a baseball stadium. . -

Well as of today, the CFL doesn't even try, so there's that. It's just too hard for the CFL to get off its corporate ass & at least try. -

U Sport will have to go along. The field changes won't be stopping for a collegiate league that contributes nothing monetarily to the upkeep of CFL stadiums they play in. They really have no say. As far as McGill goes, it was the Wettenhalls who owned the Als that refurbed the stadium they play in. I don't recall the university contributing a penny 20 years ago. Remember in 1996, there was a tree growing up thru the stands at McGill before the Als came back, the university did nothing to remove it. McGill allowed the stadium to fall into a sad state of disrepair. As far as the Argos go, I'm not quite sure of your point as the Argos don't play in a collegiate stadium. It's really a non factor as BMO is their home field. U Sports is going to have to figure it out. They will. My feelings always has been that all U Sport teams should have their own stadiums. As some don't & let someone else pay the bills they should be paying for stadium maintenamce then they have no say. -
I just keep thinking if Cal Murphy would have done that? he might have said we need a lot more work that needs to be done. Osh may have won 110 games but he's still no Cal Murphy.
-
Are you surprised? We all live in Osh's world.

How many "good employers" are out there? Anyway, semantics. they didn't consult the players & that's not going to change. -

Yeah, yeah, good employers. Sure. Lol. If you're an employee in private industry then you're replaceable anytime. You have no say unless you're unionized. I was in past situations when company reorganizations took place especially as an adjuster. Management just changed things with no consultation as to the handling of claims. Everything from company policy to new technology. We had no say. And I'd say most employees would have still said that working at that company was a good experience even with changes we/ they didn't like. -

U sport is going to have to adapt. Whp pays for the maintenance of the stadiums U Sport teams play in at McGill, manitoba, Regina, Calgary?? CFL teams do out of reven ue charged thru rent. All these teams mentioned in U Sport play for free in their stadiums because of the CFL. So, unless they want to build their own stadiums which maybe they should, U Sport teams will have to buck up. -

Just askin' but if your boss at work decides to implement changes in the workplace does he talk to you or your co worker to ask permission? Nope, it just gets done. The CFL isn't a democracy. -
Last time I looked, the CFL still had 7 mandated starters per game, 21 total Canadians on the roster, three downs, waggle, motion, one yard neutral zone, no fair catch, 12 men per side... Like WTF???

Parent was my favourite.

Why is Clrcius playing boundary WR? He's as slow as mollases. Big target. he should be a slot receiver. Wilson should be the deep threat outside in his place.
