Edmonton beat 'em (and we beat Edmonton, in Edmonton), Ottawa tied 'em - Calgary is a good football team but I feel they are overdue for a loss. On top of that, they just clinched a playoff berth last week. Doesn't happen in the CFL that often (since they play weekly), but in the NHL on long road trips or back-to-back games, sometimes great NHL will take a night off and lose to a far inferior team. So in conclusion... if the Bombers show up, Calgary skates lazily and the game is played on ice, we have a chance.

Not sure about the Bombers... but for the Riders I'd have to say... Most Outstanding Player - Chris Jones Most Outstanding Canadian - Chris Jones Most Outstanding Defensive Player - Chris Jones Most Outstanding Lineman - Chris Jones Most Outstanding Special Teams Player - Chris Jones Most Outstanding Rookie - Chris Jones Probably the biggest signing by the Riders this year.

Gotta say nothing was better than Hardkaghiuerkjshb missing that field goal - the best part was he thought he had it - did the high-five with his holder and everything, then had to cover the return...

My HH goes to Ricky Foley, thanks for turning a Bomber interception and loss of momentum into a 15-yard penalty for roughing the passer. It kept the drive alive, and the Bombers would score 24 unanswered points after that.

It'd be interesting to see if there is any correlation between this statistic and the amount of rushing attempts the QBs have - the fact that Tony Washington is so high on that list may also be due to some additional pressures being caused by Reiley scrambling... it could just as easily be because he sucks at blocking though.

The thought of dropping off a pass to Harris out of the backfield with Lewis blocking up front does sound pretty good.

I know Lochard looked pretty good in limited action against the Riders, but is anyone else worried our run game will disappear if Harris doesn't start?

Someone always has to ruin it for the rest of us... sadly these incidents are likely more common than they used to be. I love my Bombers and feel I paid for my right to be loud, enjoy the game and cheer on the Blue and Gold, even some kind-hearted jabs at away team fans, but never to this extent. At the end of the day though, it's entertainment and it could be a Riders, Bombers or Montreal Expos fan for all I care everyone deserves a basic level of decency and respect from their fellow fans. If you don't have anything nice to say, don't say anything at all.

Fun fact: Only two CFL teams have ever hosted a cross-over playoff game and lost. Kevin Glenn was the quarterback for both of those teams (Winnipeg in 2008 and Hamilton in 2009). This is also the only CFL record he holds. Nichols starts.

Enjoyed your post, but I hate this statistic - I find it misleading. As interesting as it is that the Bombers hadn't swept a back-to-back series in such a long time, they have swept other series during that time span... in fact we've already swept our series with Hamilton this year (although it wasn't a back-to-back series). To me, it just seems like gerrymandering the numbers to falsely make the Bombers look bad.
