  1. Wasn't liram still a fa too. Back up insurance I guess. Prolly won't grab one any time too. They are on like their 8th string ol now.
  2. Not since we got tobi Antigha imo. Plus we are pretty locked in at mac and wil. With a bunch of depth at de who can play a tweener role. It's the 2 active qbs. I don't think many teams will pr 2 qbs.
  3. Als cut crapinga. Prior to that they had 5 kickers in camp. Reminds me of when they had like 17 qbs in camp.
  4. To start the season but how many dbs did we go through in 19.
  5. Honestly we've shown a tremendous ability to bring in rookie dbs and have them excel in our system. Having a guy like rose that can play any style of coverage and any amount of cushion is always great but we don't need each db to be that.
  6. I think we see 5 guys with 5 sacks or more at the half way mark. Kongbo is gonna be hard to take off the field this year.
  7. https://www.google.com/amp/s/3downnation.com/2021/07/17/blue-bombers-sign-former-usc-trojans-ol-drew-richmond/amp/ Bombers brought in a new imp tackle prospect. Started most of his career for the vols and one season for usc. Might end up being a guard if he sticks long term kind of like bond.
  8. I thought we had a good size housing market bubble before covid. Lots of new builds staying empty for long periods of time while values go up and we had low inflation and a decent size portion of our population isn't looking to buy a new house any time soon. I think we are gonna see another large housing market crash and recession post covid.
  9. Haha yeah. Lingering effects of the longest off season ever. We went huge deposit and 10 year mortgage
  10. Yeah I married into the french catholic area in the south east. A lot of people here are spending 50 percent and more of their dual income on their house. And not saving for retirement or education.
  11. You'd be amazed what areas just out side the city have been selling for pre covid. The new developments that stretch towards or are marketer towards city comuters is crazy. Steinbach and niverville especially.
  12. 15lbs of lean mass for a long time gym rat is pretty huge. He probably wouldn't have seen such gains if it wasn't for the lost year. But it could be gigantic for him. And give him a better ability to rotate inside and twist more. Kongbo is a really special talent. To have his size athleticism pedigree motivation and the ni status is a once in a generation thing up here. He and hansen are poised to have monstrous production even in lower reps then many guys in the league will see. I think we will not only have the best 4 man pressure in the league but some of the best 4 man pressure in years.
  13. For sure it's great to see vets early in camp with gravel in their guts and spit in their eye.
  14. Honestly he wasn't worth near that much. He sacrificed soo much in cover its not even funny. Every pick that guy got he gave up 2 TDs and 4 big plays minimum.
  15. Same as usual. The yt channel with updates is decent atleast. Blue media is long in the tooth. And that lack of coverage hurts the leagues ability to reach a younger market.
  16. It's a pretty decisive method. But I do get why he does it. Some times I think he takes it too far. Like when we had an ol day to way from the start or camp till the end of the season. Really the blue media need to be held to a higher standard in terms of camp reports and not just towing the line. But I get why Bob and Tait don't. Just like the cfl needs Young fans we need better Young media people. I think with game to game betting we will end up seeing changes to ir and injury announcements.
  17. Best case scenario they want to reduce Harris touches this year and want to find the best platoon partner for him possible. And maybe they don't expect augustine to be ready for a while. They may also want more competition at returner if they decide to work Grant into the offense more.
  18. That's a valid question. You never know he's accomplished about every thing he could want. Now we wait and hope for the best. No joke. It's not like he's a guy who is one dimensional. His return and pass catching skill plus athleticism makes him a great fit up here. He could be a return man wr or rb or a di xfactor type of guy you weave in with a package of plays.
  19. Oh boy. Idk what's worse the idea that he's hurt or the amount of tin foil hat and insider info that is going to inundate bomber fans for the next two weeks. Mos is secretive at best when it comes to injuries. I hope that what he says is true but man I would not bet on it being the case.
  20. If a star player on this team had any kind of injury scare no matter how minor they'd shut em down for the day in camp. I hope that's all it is. The fact we didn't hear he was holding his knee and got carted off is good news I imagine.
  21. Nailed it. But some people fear the unknown soo much they'd rather go with what they know Won't work rather than risk trying some thing different. The same idea as signing Reggie slack again and passing on ac. You'd be surprised how many pro qbs aren't mentally sound. I'd be surprised if you found one hof qb that wasn't nuts. It takes a considerable amount of crazy to do what they do. He was last year. Arbuckle is still not a well known commodity he couldn't be better this year. When he's been in its because he's had to be. Because he had to be rostered to be our back up rb. He's by no means a guy who earns a spot with his teams play. His catching and blocking are well below par for a starting pro football rb. We aren't lucky to have him. He was a multi team cast off. To say we are lucky to have a guy that sat on the fa list for an extended period as a ni is laughable. It's fine to like the kool-aid. But don't expect every one to believe it's wine. 😄
  22. Also great to see the draft picks and ni rbs shining on teams. A big part of this camp is going to be replenishing our ni teams depth. We have consistently filled holes at db and found great guys to fit in. That front isn't going to give qbs a lot of time either. I think ol will be a great battle too. We have a bunch of young ni with a camp and some game reps under their belt and not a whole lot of service time dividing two of the starters and a back up or two. Gonna be some tough decisions at some point. Can only hide guys soo long.
  23. A lot of db vs wr drills this year. Wish they had these streamed in part on line. No injuries is big. With Griffiths calling it quits I wonder if we are in the market for an ni dt.
  24. Since the rock and the xfl said the same and they have nothing to show for their time owning the xfl I tend to believe it. The xfl isn't going to waste their credibility to hoodwink their own fans for the benefit of the cfl.
  25. And when the xfl folds for the 4th time after again not finishing a season then what. I'm not sure how tsn would re act. What are they gonna fill all the missing time slots with? They gonna air golf games played by nhlers in their off season? I wonder if at some point the league is better off cutting out the dead weight of a franchise like the argos and building around strengths. This young generation in the gta is never coming over to the cfl. The league has to make in roads in its strong markets with a younger audience. We've spent the last decade trying to prop up and fix broken Franchises and its brought the league to its knees. Maybe it's time to stop hanging around with an ex hoping she will take us back. That drill in riderville is beyond idiotic. I hope we are being smarter than that.
