I dunno why there is a need to come out period, people pay to watch you play not gossip or even care about your personal life. If its a publicity stunt to show people out there even their sports stars are gay too, well i dont think it really makes a difference, if your comfortable coming out, you'll do it when your ready. we really need to get to a day and age where if someone is like "Hey everyone! Im gay!!" the response is "good for you" carry on, not make it a "omg did you hear! so and so is gay" As long as its put in a spotlight, itll remain an issue, the sooner its not an issue the sooner life goes on

im still curious about venable over bowman for MODP - bowman has league leading 16 sacks, venable has 104 tackles (3rd) 5 sacks and 1 fumble recovery, is that better?

Calgary, Edmonton and Ottawa (where we lost by 6 point combined) were QB'd by Reilly, Mitchell and Burris, change those to wins with willy and were 8-9 right now

well bass would need to get 14 tackles (sits at 93) as it stand just to tie knox jr in tackles (107) unless 100 is the goal perhaps a bonus

I hope bass is only playing limited reps, I'd really like to see waggoner with a lot of real reps

oh, then i take back my comparison, I havent watched the argos really (other then this past week vs BC) so of what I did see early on, harris looked legit and good. what i remember is printers going on a tare for the lions then come the GC game dickenson was healthy (as ray is now) and printers/harris get the bench. Im a fan of the "dont lose your job to injury" motto most coaches live by, but the timing to put in a cold QB at this or that juncture is questionable. at least rays got 2 games before playoffs kick off

you really think we only win 1 or 2 games since he went out in our 7th game? we were 3-3 at that point with him, and even though Hamilton scored on its opening drive the game he went down, he stormed back and got us a TD right back. reminded me a lot of the 2nd half bombers (2nd half the year) but clicking offensively right out the gate. thats been the huge difference between nichols and willy imo. nichols seem to adjust by late 2nd quarter-early 3rd quarter, where as willy could go go go. I never felt willy couldnt march the ball at any time, with nichols it was not a matter of if, but when, with brohm and marve not at all

i think itll be toronto/calgary ill go against the grain. but I think the argos shoulda stuck with harris, reminds me a little of the Dickenson/Printers fiasco in BC years ago

Im curious, I know Maurice had them beef up a bit and stay fit last offseason, which I thought helped them down the stretch, was that a prerequisite this past off season too? aside from the Habs game, of the games I've watched theyve seem to be bigger and faster then the opponents they've faced as far as i can tell

finished freakshow (season 4) of american horror story. Its a good show, i wouldnt say great, but the acting is pretty good. kind of reminds me of an adult version of are you afraid of the dark

I enjoyed Lucy, not sure about the myth on 10%, maybe it gives people hope about the what ifs on what we can do if we can already do so much using so little. maybe it subconsciously makes people push harder, but can use the limitation as a fall back as to why they cant get any further? I personally heard the 10% echoed by a lot of people growing up, maybe the lack of people debunking it more publicly keeps the initial wrong info a popular belief? not as far fetched as the men use 10% women use 11% crap tho

I got a pair of bombers gitch from walmart. woo super fan, actually it reaffirmed my love for the bombers, that even in dark times, id proudly wear their logo. We all want them to be better .. soo sooo much better

sorry i thought willy was out longer then 3.75 games prior to nichols starting, but those 4 games we got beat - including the game he went down and we had just tied it up vs hamilton - 38-8 vs hamilton, 27-20 to toronto, 36-8 vs calgary and 37-19 vs saskatchewan!!! with brohm/marve. compare that to once we got nichols

this is where I believe the willy factor really would make a difference tho. 1-3 in that 4 game stretch and the 3 losses by a combined 6 points and we'd be 8-9. if you dont think willy could have done something, anything really, in any of those first halves of those losses then you might be a hard person to believe willy is any good regardless. I havent heard anyone say our depth was really better or should have been better then any teams, but its incorrect to think we got destroyed out of the playoffs. I would say up until we got nichols (started from the banjo bowl on) our first halves stunk but we became alot more competitive then when we were getting our asses handed to us with brohm and marve. Id blame that stretch from willy going down to labour day as to why were not in the playoffs more then recent games
