One might argue, that since he's not a career politician, he would be more sensitive to criticism, having not built up a certain amount of resistance over his career.
However, this is Donald Trump, the man is too ignorant, pathetic, and has bullied his way into the public eye for so long, it doesn't hold weight. His grifting and racism have been on full display for almost his entire life and he loves being the centre of attention. His ego, on the other hand, is so fragile, it's weakness.

I'm not sure why this surprises me anymore, but I continue to be fascinated by the depths of Trump's oversized ego and at the same time his massive insecurity and inferiority complex. Doesn't really care about Twitter spam or cleaning up bots, just hates the bottom line that he is visibly losing followers - that is, his numbers aren't as big as he needs them to be in his mind (likely to boast -"most followers ever"). Just like his lies about his inauguration crowd size, rally crowd sizes, and his actual wealth (as others touched upon, his fear of being a "false billionaire"). Boy did he pick the ultimate wrong job if he was worried about his public perception and popularity. I'd like to think he had enough common sense to know that "politician" is an inherently untrusted and loathed occupation and could see what he was getting into (then again, his concept of a "real lawyer" is someone who never takes notes, so maybe he has no clue). Even the best politicians are going to get slagged by the media or some portion of the population just because that's what we do with our politicians and our own partisan views. Most amazing to me is how 65 million Americans did not see this glaring frailty and still seek to protect him.

    CNN included her photo.
It’s not a spoiler after the show airs.  If I made a new thread that said “Arya Sex scene” you could at least say I was less then considerate. But posting about a tv show that already aired on the tv thread?   Sorry, not an issue. And even then I still have nothing away about the plot.
Onus is on the person choosing to watch later to avoid spoilers.  We don’t all have to keep it quiet until the last person watches.

Sorry TUP, I agree with TB4E.
CNN made it a "click bait title" so I knew something was up... but not the full details. I tried to keep away from spoilers but I reckon that Arya scene was a bit more spoiler-friendly than most tidbits.
Not going to hold a grudge, it is what it is.

Of course I am trolling a bit, but I am making a point of my own instead of missing it.
To assume that anything spoiler-ish is fair game the second it has hit the public conscience is more than a bit presumptive. In the world of 3 TV networks and no VCRs, it was safer to assume that any major plot development would be seen by all at the same time, or those that missed it did not really care enough to watch the show in the first place. And spoilers were limited to word of mouth for the most part, so people could self-regulate what information they wanted to receive.
But in today's world of "57 channels and nothing on" (more like 200), PVR and binge-watching, it is wrong to assume that everyone sees the episode right away (much like a movie that has so many sold-out showings that many won't get to see it until the second or third day, or maybe even the second or third week in this extreme case - hence my specific reference to it). And with the advent of instant gratification internet media like twitter, instagram, etc. and 24-hour streaming news/sports/entertainment, and the ability to cross over from one platform to another, the possibilities of being notified of a spoiler are much higher, despite one's best intentions to avoid being spoiled.
So I can avoid all spoiler sites about "Avengers" diligently (moviespoiler.com and any Google search that takes me to "Avengers spoilers" websites would be the obvious ones to avoid) in an effort to not have the surprise ruined, but reading a generic Bomber fan website and being told about a big spoiler (plot-driven or not, it clearly is a big enough deal to hit CNN and obviously enough to warrant your mention of it, so you would have appreciated the sensitive nature of it to some) with no advance warning can be jarring - if you are so inclined to get worked up about such things in life.
And to be fair, a CNN headline saying "actress thought GOT sex scene was a prank" that requires you to click on a link for more details is a lot less specific than "hey, I'll identify this person by name and say what happened out of the blue with no prior hint that the topic had changed".
So my troll point was simply to say it's a bit frivolous to say "well if it's aired it's fair game and not a spoiler anymore because I've already seen it, so tough on anyone who missed the boat" as a justification for letting a spoiler slip, and used the extreme example of the biggest movie around to beat you over the head with my point. Not very subtle, no, but you get my drift, even if you want to debate the semantics of "movie" vs. "TV", where the lines are more blurred in the current day and age than in the past, IMO.
Just my 2 cents. Personally, I'm not going to get bent out of shape about spoilers, but I am sensitive to those who do.

Great thread.  Should be required reading (among others) for the usual suspects pretending the report exonerates trump.
And that’s one item.  Keep in mind how many items in the report were referred to other jurisdictions that were redacted.   What could THOSE be?  Guy is as dirty as it gets.

    **** Harper.
For JT to be as shamelessly obstructive as Harper- he will have to wait until there is motion to investigate his obstruction- then as the bill is moving through system- Prorogue Parliament and make it go away.

I will watch them when Martin either finishes the books (I read the first one like a year after it was published so I been very, very patient) or he kicks the bucket, whichever comes first. I'm not letting the HBO clowns ruin any potential spoilers for the vastly superior books.

Anyway, enough trolling out of me, I thought TLJ was weird and decent but I can understand how it might frustrate people who want different things from Star Wars than I do.
The thing I am stoked for now is The Mandalorian.  The cast looks great: Pedro Pascal (the Red Viper from GOT) in the lead role, with Carl Weathers, Nick Nolte, Giancarlo Esposito (Gus Fring from Breaking Bad) and Werner Herzog as an old Imperial slimebag.

Every review and what I recall from the show itself said 30-31 century.  But they did say it wasn't certain.

    Impeachment...
    So... what do they do?
Does congress use what is in the Mueller report to start impeachment proceedings (cuz there is MORE than enough for that) and do what is the right thing and "cleansing the office... and restoring honor and integrity to the office.”. Kind of like do you constitutional duty and protect the office.
    or...
Hold off Impeachment proceeding because it is politically disadvantageous to do so. Democrat controlled congress starts and passes impeachment articles... republican controlled senate and cocaine mitch quash it because they are ******* cowards and it's party over country with those folks... and trump claims complete vindication and boosts his chances for re-election... holding off impeachment proceedings and let that hing over the rest of his presidency and boost the chances of a democratic win for POTUS and thus removing him from office that way- literally by the people.

interesting scenario for the Democrats... kind of damned if they don't (not doing their job in congress) damned if they do ("exoneration" by the cowards in the senate).

At least one 2020 candidate weighed in and took a stance:

"There are times when it's beyond politics, when it is a point of principle to stand up and say, no president can do this. Because it matters."

am I reading this correctly? A top 5 list that doesn't include A New Hope?
So basically They're all good except I really hated The Last Jedi and Solo was just a useless movie that I found boring and uninteresting. So those two suck, the rest are fine. Yeah even the prequels. They're not the greatest things ever and they got lots of cringe in them, but they're way way better than the **** that Rian Johnson smeared on the screen with his attempt at subverting expectations. What an asshat that guy is.

Another excellent read.  Anonymous former White House staffer analyzing aspects of the report.  For their that haven’t read the report in full (most of us) it shows a lot of the collusion and obstruction.  Not opinion, facts as reported my Mueller.
