  1. Past hour
  2. Talent instantly recognizes genius, whereas mediocrity knows nothing higher than it self. One can argue personality, approach etc, but can’t argue knowledge and understanding of the game. There’s a handful of guys with high level understandings of the game and of certain aspects of it.
  3. imagine where he would be at if he didnt have to endure that second season here, and just ran the playbook, and used his legs when requied....maybe a small personalized package.....Lapo almost ruined him
  4. If we add Kyrie..BA...Holm..Nichols to the key guys we saw today...we will be just fine he always could throw....Lapo nueterd and actually stunted his progression....People think cause he has a bit of a weird delivery he cant throw...but actually his mechanics will probably mitigate and shoulder/elbow issues...
  5. Dave Thomas was ok but I kept wanting to call him the Wendy's guy. Mullinder makes fiction's Lenny look like a Mensa candidate.
  6. my experience here was the least of my experience actually...but you are correct
  7. Strev will be a great change of pace qb. I just hope that Buck doesn't "Lapolice" him.
  8. Booch legitimately had a camp with the Bombers. Until recently I was convinced he was either Travis Ortega or Tony Ortiz.... But he is for real and knows what he's talking about. Yes he gets hung up on some things sometimes but his knowledge is for real. #TeamBooch
  9. I thought his throwing was good too.
  10. As long as our key guys who have been absent in camp get healthy, no worries from me. Some exciting rookies and sophomores to root for.
  11. Imagine Strev....a few games in....totally back in the saddle and in the flow?....Good luck managing him when he has all the weapons out there with him that you can't cheat on by not paying attention to
  12. Try being a coach. More than a few fans thinks they can do better. Or call a better game. When you win, everyone is your friend slapping you on the back saying. "Great job!!!" When you lose that walk off the field to the locker room is a long & lonely one. It's like suddenly you're a dumbass & also have Covid. It comes with the territory whether you're a player, coach or a member here. Water off a duck's back.
  13. For sure. Their 1st stringers managed a FG against backups, and their 1st string D couldn't handle Strev and the 2nd and 3rd stringers I agree. We had almost zero vet presence today and still competed well
  14. Not to sound like a Riders fan at all, but I actually didn't mind what I saw today. There was a lot of positive... Take away Barriere INTs... It's a tight game. Some easy decisions for coaches. We're gonna be just fine come June 6th and I already can't wait for May 31....
  15. Don't forget Batman with a bunch of catches and a fumble (to be fair that was an awkward play)
  16. Was pre-season... Did you listen to the color guy from Sask, now that was pre-season mode at its finest.. I don't believe he is a rookie, but very green.
  17. Once Grant went down...special teams in all facets sucked...badly as a rider fan...and management....that couldnt have been a very encouraging showing to be honest...I'd be concerned
  18. from my early take on what just seen...We will be better at QB2....Dline....Linebacker....Oline will be strong as ever....Receivers the same....running attack better....I think our defensive philosophy will be a much more aggressive attackig one than what Hall liked....I feel good from what I saw even from a pared down vanilla package....we put the right guys on the fielD on defense we are gonna have so many options and looks...it could be scary Wilson as QB 3 may be a nice guy to develop here....Love his body type for QB up here...coverage team scares me again...but maybe with more of the regulars in their role, and addition of guys like Moses...Gemmel..Pertrishen we may surprise
  19. 1 garbutt and rivers. Both played really well garbutt vs the riders starters. 2 Moses and petrishen. Moses made a bunch of good plays especially on the goal line. Both flew around making plays. Ayers Thomas and gemmel all had flashes too. 3 Dobson and Wallace. Dobson looked really good at guard and centre. Wallace looked way further a long then I expected. HH strevy on the pa option sweep trucking riders. honorable mentions, Wilson for the bounce back, schmekel played an excellent game, fox and Lawson were great inside together, ford looked good on the corner, smith was the best of the returners. crunch of the game hallett with the perfectly timed smash on kick cover with out a no yards. block of the game. Wallace Dobson and kola cruising down field mashing for strevy scape goats, Barry-eh, cruickshank, lofton , kalra with the sack on barryeh.
  20. They should be really concerned that their 1st string O and 1st string D laid giant eggs against our all rookie lineups. This may have been a win for the Riders but they should not be feeling good about it. Their first stringers were not good.
  21. Mullinder is a rider homer. First half was ok. Really. If you could eliminate barrieres 2 quarters it was ok. Barriere really was awful. Like dude couldn’t throw a basic pass.
