  1. Past hour
  2. There are certain personalities who, when forced to take an action not chosen by then, will do what is forced on them but will do it in a fashion that sabotages any benefit. Then they can say "See? I did it and it didn't work just like I said". I see O'Shea as doing this passive/aggressive crap.
  3. Yeah. They both are terrible. But one is probably hurt and the other has gotten worse since he’s been back. I mean Zach was pulled last game. Streveler should have been last night. Pretty simple no. It’s not your guy vs their guy here. I mean. What the **** does collaros have to do with last night ?
  4. Disagree to an extent. Talent in its prime can compensate for inept coaching and roster management for a time but inevitably you see what we saw for the past 2+ seasons. We yahoos in this forum saw it and commented on it but we were voices crying in the wilderness.
  5. And no play makers...not a good mixture He's legit...I know guys who clocked him at mid 4.5's in 40 yard dash...for dline guy that's insane
  6. He should be getting looks on defence...if we were letting Hallett play...both him and Shay should be getting reps
  7. Smith looks like a great athlete, I think he's got a bright future
  8. Yeah ,thats one thing I dont like about Eddie. I love watching his podcasts though. Darren Cameron is a hoot ,has no filter.
  9. Imo, next to hc and OC is the hardest coaching job come game day. Even the prep work during the week is massive. If you’re a hc who doesn’t have a heavy hand in o or d, OC is likely harder. Or being an oc with a struggling qb. Hard, hard job. It also has one of the shortest shelf life’s. I would’ve expected our O to be much further along at this point, especially with Jackson as the qb coach. Hogan has had plenty of adversity, I’d be willing to give him more grace, if he had shown any flashes at all. But the problems are deep and the bright spots nearly none existent.
  10. Kids got a motor ,i see a bright future up here.
  11. Today
  12. Yeah the talk was about grooming him for that role. Clearly we did **** all in coaching him since he twice didn’t know what his responsibilities were when it’s kicked shallow and to his side. Reality is if you are gonna break into this league as an imp rb, or if you’re going to roster one, they need maximum versatility. And rb is a spot with a lot of the build in tools to do the extra jobs. Plus we’ve literally done this before. With Flanders, Augustine, gmc etc. The last imp wr around here needs to have the ability to run sweeps etc too. End of the day it’s the ocs job to put the players in position to get the ball in their hands and make plays. Who do you want to be that guy, Corcoran, Mitchell, and Cooley. You can run Cooley out of the back field, tight etc and have him make easy catches, motion for sweeps and hand offs, and let him make plays. Or, you can let Mitchell do what we paid him to do. Or you can put out Corcoran who can’t block, get open, or run, but he can catch.
  13. On the vaval KR td was nice to see J.Jones and Adams take out the guys to spring him and our rookies Shay and Smith escort him in...
  14. After TPP watch A Shot In The Dark then The Return of the Pink Panther and The Pink Panther Strikes Again and quit.
  15. Just a reminder that these are just Neg List notifications... Not signings....
  16. Or one that has 7 tds and 8 picks...and a sub 80% efficiency
  17. Doug Brown also lets it be known that he thinks Streveler sucks also tho. I’m a fan of brown but at times he likes to be the smartest guy in the room and he does get annoying at times but he’s speaking facts.
  18. Ya I think there's a healthy enough respect between them because they're both among the best to ever do it at their respective positions, but there was absolutely no love lost between those Bombers and Argos teams of the 2000s.... I'm sure there's some unresolved things.
  19. Would that apply to QBs who throw 0 TDs and 3 picks?
  20. When guys are obviously not cutting it (ie. Kolankowski) you should be giving other players opportunities to try.
  21. I just remember a few years ago Brown getting into it on the radio with oshea about the country club training camp for vets
  22. 2001-2008.... "...they've met...."
  23. Meant to post this last night 😀 Trey Vaval, so sorry!
  24. I wonder how many years their playing careers overlapped?
  25. OL will get better, assuming big Stan is not out for the season. First game, they were a strength. Also, TO has weaknesses but they are not on the DL.
  26. Yup...Person addition...Griffin addition and the reworking of Kramdi and Parker..J.Jones added to LB mix made a huge difference and allowed players like WJ..Vaughters...T.Jones..Nichols..Holm and Adams to really benefit....Kelly back as well was a plus...I think we gonna be okay on defense...couple lil adjustments...figure out the one db spot...minimize or eliminate Thomas and play that more aggressive attack style like we did save for that 3rd quarter fall back to our old scheme and we can real good...gonna need them I think offensively we screwed for the yr and we gonna have to scratch and claw and win ugly for any chance of wins...Reciever is a joke...oline is in shambles...OC is I think way over his head and not helping In hindsight maybe it was best we cut bait with Kolo...Thomas...Kramdi and used that 450k toward Dobson and Lawler...Give Eli and or Wallace every chance to play center...people like to say Eli has never took the job...but was never offered either...u start him 18 games...he'd be more than fine...and or we drafted a center or targeted one in FA...the season trajectory would look way different for sure...
