  2. They will keep Blaming goalies eventho McDavid is like minus 30 in the series. Edmontons D is terrible. They have a bunch of offensive D and offensive forwards. They ain’t got a clue how to play team D tho. Not a hot clue. McDavid included. I’ve seen oiler fans say well Philly is up 3 1 on Pittsburgh, true but Philly was better than Pittsburgh. Edmonton better than Anaheim. Anaheim can’t play D either. They are a run and gun team, why the jets struggled against them cuz instead of trying to play strong D first hockey they like Edmonton is doing tried to run and gun with them. You can’t as that Ducks team is young and fast but no way should it be 3 1 ducks. Look what Colorado, truly elite team did to LA? Sweep. Carolina over Ottawa. Sweep. Edmonton isn’t elite. You can keep changing goalies until McDavid leaves or trade him for a haul and truly fix what ails you. Bottom line. Like the jets and Helle, lesser goalies have won Stanley cups with lesser teams than the Jets. If you can trade 1 guy to fix multiple issues long term for you, you gotta think hard about it. If someone offered us a 1st and legit 2 center for Helle, I’d think long and hard about it cuz look at the goalies in the playoffs minus TBAY. Pretty pedestrian really. Colorado runs a tandem. Carolina has a rookie and Freddy Anderson. Anaheim’s keeper is a rookie pretty much. Montreals are younger. It goes on and on and on. I’d think hard just like I think if Edmonton loses they should think long and hard about moving McDavid before he leaves for nothing. McDavid is a solid offensive hockey player but you could argue he can’t be a goat until he wins a cup and he might not ever win a cup. MacKinnon Has won. Kucherov has won. Sid won. Took a while but ovi won. Maybe it takes McDavid a while but until He wins a cup? He’s just a really great regular season player who puts up lots of points in playoffs but also gives up lots against.
  3. Pavia has talent. He’s very small tho 5 foot 9 they say at the combine and his attitude is just toxic. But he might make the Ravens because he’s a smaller Lamar Jackson who likes to run. I’d say Baltimore is his best fit, if pavia can’t make it there he’s not gonna make it anywhere. I agree ego will never allow for him to come up here plus he’s 5 9. He’s tiny but he wins so it’s a dilemma. Attitude is toxic potentially. Is he worth the headaches? Ravens will find out.

  5. This past weekend should have been a big slice of humble pie for him - first Heisman finalist since 2014 to not get drafted. He one-upped that by not even getting signed as an UDFA so it'll be interesting to see how he reacts to all this.
  6. I think Pavia has too big of an ego to come to the CFL, at this point.
  7. Oh boy, post game shows in Edmonton should be fun tonight.
  8. Go Moose’s!
  9. Henning agrees to attend 2 mini camps. Colts and Raiders.

  11. Moose Advance!
  12. Draft is Tuesday. Are we better waiting to see who falls to 4 or making a move up to 1 to draft local product Vaccaro?
  13. He does not have an NFL arm. He is great at maximizing the abilities he has but he just can't make every throw needed. Add to that he is small, and a head case and it's no surprise really. That being said if im Walter's im picking up the phone and giving his agent my best pitch to come to us (he's on our neg list). His velocity of throws wouldn't be as big an issue in the CFL. His deep ball would be below average but acceptable, and his accuracy is top notch. Delivering balls with velocity in tight windows is his biggest flaw and the bigger field of the CFL would give him that extra time and space needed for his lack of a big arm.
  14. 3DownNationCould CFL be next for Diego Pavia after NFL draft snub? -...It doesn’t seem unrealistic that Heisman Trophy finalist Diego Pavia could end up in the CFL in the relatively near future. The highly-touted collegiate quarterback went unselected in the recent 2026Pavias rights have become significantly more interesting. Passed on in the draft and not in the first wave of priority free agents yet. Hard to imagine him not getting a camp invite atleast. surprised no one is talking a shot on him
  15. I think they are preparing for a Stanley evealing Bryant sized hole in the OL as early as next year. However, if they do go 3 IMP OL...which they might if Eli or Wallace dont show well...we still dont need to run 3 NAT rec. I would hope not to see that. The number of interior IMP OL is very revealing about their overall faith in our NAT OL tho.
  16. Sportsnet.caReports: Four Canadians sign NFL deals after draft
  17. As mentioned it's all about health.... If Ceresna and Collaros, in particular, stay healthy... We'll be more than okay. I keep worrying about demski every year, too. Not getting any younger... Hoping he can continue to stay relatively healthy.
  18. If we manage to get 2nd/3rd de/pass rusher worth a damn we are easily top. That is assuming we play the best players on d, which I think we are well set up to do reasonably well.
  19. Cocoran had terrible testing numbers at the combine and looked slow as molasses when he got in. Rudy is a great movie but not as a real life member of a team.
  20. Last week
  21. You think they are bringing 13 import OL to camp to see if they can make Winnipeg run out of food?
  22. That’s too bad, BT no goals no wins no more playoffs. Shucks.
  23. Yeah i agree with you all about Bjorck size, especially at center, but there is something i really like about his metrics and already playing against men plus he took all the faceoffs over Frondell ..but i agree top 2 definitely McKenna or Stenburg.😊
  24. I think that our management/coaching decisions this off-season clearly indicate that offence will be a priority this year. At least that's what our player and coaching changes suggest. I would be very surprised if we hire a passing game guru OC then hand him 3 NAT receiving group.
  25. I think Clercius is better than what he's shown. Corcoran was a rookie with limited reps. Can't really fairly assess him yet imo.
  26. I like verehoff because right handed. Reid would be fine also.
  27. My opinion...i think we will have the top..if not top 2 defence in league and and strong ST's and will be our identity..we have the horses and pieces there to be an active attack defense...and the true success hinges on 2 things...What ZC are we gonna see..legit OC..Some legit top 3 starter receivers...BO..and a oline light yrs better than last yr...all the excuses have been purged so if he is not getting it done we need a inseason transition and not sure if that's capable The other thing that is key is if Osh handcuffs us again with his questionable rostering and decisions All I can currently see where he could eff things up is the dumb decision to go 3 national receivers and have Corcoran in spot 3
