  2. Any receivers jumping off the page at camp at all?
  3. Demski, Nield, Corcoran, Clercius, Cobb...and then MCI and Daniels if we stop going 5 WR for the rest of the game. I think there's depth there to run 3 Canadians from that group. But the question is the talent. Demski is the only difference maker from that group...and he's getting older...the rest are hopefuls and role guys. So I'm definitely concerned as well RE: putting out enough weapons for Zach. Unless those Canadians take big steps we are really leaning on Brady and our two top-end receivers in White and Wilson.
  4. I think our best use of the final offensive spot is a guy big enough to dominant none dl blocks, but athletic enough that they demand a lber/db tweener at best. When it’s a 6th ol, or a guy like daniels, we hurt the run game and limit zachs ability to put the ball where he wants (down field) When brady is at his best, he’s aiming and pressing the A gap but ready to one cut and hit the b gap or press off tackle. When we play a 6th full size blocker, Ds go to an extra dl. Usually a di with every other team basically carrying a di dl every game. That 1, reduces the gap size and window between the tackle. But 2, moves the off tackle point to a spot that is hard to reach before the second level closes the angle. Daniels as a replacement for the heavy set edge blocker role that eli used to come in for is great. Though im not sure he’d be an upgrade over schmekel in that role. I think daniels potential long term offering to zach as his pressure release guy is great. More than just dropping size I think he needs that mobility/movement training to be enough of an asset in the pass game. Daniels vs peterson for a spot would make sense if we are going heavy set base a lot. Though I really worry about how thin we would be with offensive play makers. We really need some one to take a big step forward as a play maker on offence. We have basically no ability to absorb an injury to an offensive play maker.

  8. yeah I think the last wr will rotate in package for sure. I think we are likely to see more heavy sets than 5 wide sets.

  13. I think we will see more MCI out of backfield...even spot out wide on a 2 back set...Clercius should be rotated in and with Neild and at times as the 5th. I just cant see the logic of going 3 Canadians full time as we dont have the depth or talent for it really. Clercius is perfect for the main Canadian backup and used in specific packages based on down and distance and position on field. Daniels in my opinion shouldnt be expected to take a lot of offensive reps other than in jumbo packages and ones where we actually using a TE as an actual option, and in and around the goaline We need a 5th receiver who is a speed guy or a big bodied athlete to win contested balls

  16. MCI has looked impressive and has really progressed...plus he already was real good on teams and it seems Condell see's the potential in him and he is gonna be a bigger piece of the offence this yr. He's a lock for the roster. Be interesting to see a spit backfield at times with BO and MCI and some motion with them....could become a real headache for defenses....MCI also has the ability to take it to the house, or gain huge chunks of real-estate from anywhere on the filed too....either with pure burst and elite top end speed....or running through people
  17. Yes it's only pre season, and yes it's only Stamps hosting Gappers, but we officially have 2026 CFL football today .. by gar it's been awhile. Also, the "broadcast", if you want to call it that, is on the CFL website...
  18. Good point on MCI, possibly bumping Peterson off. Agree on Hallett being toast. Do you see the 5th WR spot being more of a rotation of Clercius/MCI/Daniels?
  19. Oh man the memorial fan arts are gonna break my heart (for the uninitiated, he voiced several characters on Cartoon Network and Nick Toons shows, most notably Professor Utonium on the Powerpuff Girls, I don't know if he did the rebooted series...among other things) https://www.tmz.com/2026/05/18/tom-kane-dead/

  23. kenny was pretty good in his first camp, he came here mid to late in the season and was on our pr after a camp with the lions. A lot of optimism as wide spread after his first year playing in 19, more people doubted bailey would be worth keeping around
  24. peterson is listed twice, so one of him for one S. They’d probably go hallet, even though he’s toast. If mcis flashes at rb end up being for real we might carry one ni rb, we could use that spot to carry a 6th ol (ick) or daniels and run a full time te while a ni wr back ups and bumps cobb off
  25. Jake Paul sitting in a couch and pretending like he can get into MMA and fight Ngannou was enough for me to realize this event was a complete joke. Watch them trot out Fedor vs Randy Couture for the next event or something equally as lame.
  26. When I was growing up in Pinawa in the 90s, the Niverville HC Dwight Hirst was an absolute superstar for Lac Du Bonnet in our minor hockey days. We had a comparable guy in Pinawa, but Hirst was lethal. Awesome to see him having so much success coaching. Good dude.
  27. Homer Simpson made roster construction look so easy. I am a failure.

  32. MOS and Younger decide who plays where. PERIOD. If Walters is giving orders on who plays where and when he should be fired. That would be gross over reach by a GM. Just to play devils advocate though, if KW did order MOS to move Kramdi to S, then isn't possible KW is ordering him to start extra NATs. That seems laughable to think a GM would do that doesnt it? If we are trotting out Corcoran game 1 that is an epic failure by both KW and KC.
  33. Kenny didn't light it up in his first TC. A lot of posters here were surprised when he made the cut...until the Friday night lights came on.
  34. It's day 7 of camp. We should not read into it too much, especially at receiver. Im going to wait until at least the end of week 2 before declaring that KW and the scouts have whiffed on entire positional prospect pools. DL with yard off the ball, and receiver with the waggle and different field take a couple weeks for a lot of guys.
  35. Good calls on both but my question would be who comes off?
