Winnipeg Sports fans had a tough year, the Bombers had their first Off year in nearly a decade (and at the worst possible timing), the Goldeyes had another bad year, Sea Bears I don't remember much but I don't think they made the playoffs, Valor FC folded, the Moose Stank and despite making it to round 2 of the playoffs the Jets lost their footing the following season

2025 was a slog, you guys, and not just as a Bomber fan. Looking forward to 2026. May the new orbit bring you good fortune.

Race to the bottom has been achieved ...for 25' part of the season at least....Will we see much improvement in 26'.....not likely as it appears the Jets organization have written the season off...It's going to take more than 'tanking' (no guarantees there) to fix this mess...A lot of fans seriously pi$$ed off and have gone into apathy mode....Good luck to the club trying to renew season tix for next year....Happy New Year

I’d agree with this. Wilson and 40 year old Marchand makes no sense. Bedard not on the team doesn’t make sense either. Horvat over Scheifele is also mind numbing Josh was guaranteed to make it. He was at the 4 nations and everything. He made the team. That was obvious. Scheifele not making it is bullshit.

Doesn't the Olympic Squad have alternates? I mean even if he didn't make the main squad J.Mo should have made alternate even and Scheif on the main squad

I don't know what more Scheifele could do to make this team. It's insane to me especially when you see who made th team ahead of him. Embarrassing.

Yikes. Who takes the lions share of blame here? Players, coaches, GM? Or all share equal blame? Are they throwing in the white towel on the season? So many questions very few answers. Oh right to buffer our frustration, we are feel fortunate we have a NHL team, bring down any high expectations we have of this team while continuing to hand over our money on swag and such. I forgot. This didn’t surprise me. Mark’s best chance was in 22 but COVID wiped that out. Not that he hasn’t been amazing, but is it possible the team’s record entered into the conversation?
