When Wilson had his chances in pre season he looked slow with decision making and held the ball longer than Artopoeous even. Artopoeous actually looks like he has that gun slinger mentality. Plus others have mentioned Wilson couldn’t run certain Os in college. I dunno. Good short yardage guy, better than Streveler. I’d trade or release Streveler before Wilson tho. I’d give him a chance. Yeah Jake Thomas. Jake is Canadian tho and cfl requires you to dress so many. Why he gets so many snaps is beyond me but, he’s not the reason we win or lose really like the Qb is so it’s a bad comparison. Who is our next best Canadian after Jake ? Cuz don’t think we have the depth there. Jake’s dressing no matter what. He’s Canadian and he’s prob better than Schmek or Korn or whoever doesn’t dress that week. Sad but true

I think the only chance of Zach getting a trade is if someone else gets a season ending injury and they are desperate for a vet.

This is the same team that keeps trotting out Jake Thomas. This is the same team that won't pull Zach when he's bad. Wouldn't this suggest that this team is bad at judging talent and/or giving others opportunities? They don't even let him try is exactly the issue people have had with this club for the last several years.

Get vanterpool practicing snaps. Seems like a smart quick learner type. Was apparently being a vocal leader at camp. Rookie camp especially. gonna have to replace big Stan so. American Tackle. Wallace. ELI. vanterpool. Randolph . 3 American OL. Neufeld cooked. As is kola. So is Big Stan unfortunately

I don’t think any one would give up any asset for zach. Especially not on that deal and with a year next year on the books. Any team that would want him would wait it out for him to be released.

Druther trade Collaros. He hasn't shown himself to be substantially better than Streveler and his contract is weighing the team down.

I like him and woodbey at S. I think Allen is much more ready a fit at corner though. Depends on how many guys are out. Gonna be a lot of turn over that’a for sure. kelly was picking up guys running free, he looked like a guy whose green for basically playing starters snaps. He should be a back up taking a moderate set of package snaps.

I actually like Wilson as a short yardage QB. He seems to get off faster than Strev and keeps lower, his instincts to move right or left when over the center gets plugged just seems better. Anytime he has been in on short yardage positives have happened. Whether he can run a regular offence is hard to say as he has not had a lot of opportunity. Strev is 2-0 this year when he has started although it has not been pretty. Seems to not have the escapability needed as a run and gun QB like he used to. dont know if his knee surgery is affecting this more than thought or not.

Wallace has also taken C snaps in pre season and camp here. If Eli isn’t the answer, I’d try Wallace and stick Lofton at G that’s his natural position any way.

Looks like the UFL is critically failing again. 4 teams, the former usfl division, are being relocated with no plans or destinations yet. Lots of other speculation's circulating as well. Likely the end of the UFL.

Part of me wants to see dru brown throw 6 TDs this week. A large part honestly. Cuz that decision right there is what is ******* this team right now and in the future cuz Strev and Wilson ain’t it. Brown showed more in 1.5 seasons than Strev and Wilson have shown now. (Strev ain’t a young guy either ) dude showed he was ready to take over for Zach. He was the next guy. When he played the O actually operated smoother it seemed. The decision to let him go was dumb and honestly, it would be sorta ironic if Dru lit us up and then **** hit the ceiling. Honestly. I’d fire Walters if we lose next game and Dru lights us up so a large part of me hopes this happens cuz complacency is a problem here also. And if Wade and O’Shea agreed with it, they’d be gone too if I owned the team. If Wade was my president of football ops and Kyle was my gm and Osh was my head coach and dru brown absolutely lights us up this week, they would be president gm and coach of the Siberian Tigers.

I vaguely remember reinbold rolling in to his introductory pc on his Harley or something. I think me and my buds all liked the guy. He was cool to us for some reason at that time. I think honestly reinbold era was my first games I remember going to as a fan. I went to ones with parents when a bit younger but reinbold I remember. TJ Rubley is a QB I remember. Not sure if that’s reinbold or not. Possibly.

Tony? Yes. Couple teams are struggling with lber and Tony has the pop on film and star box. What would we get? Idk 3-4th rounder probably? Kyrie? No. Big Stan? Modest return but yes. I think some one would give a 5th or lower to mainly be a player coach who can start in the stretch run. Nichols would get interest, maybe a 2-3rd. Holm maybe 3-4. Vaughters/wj have more value. But wj won’t likely keep it high for as long. 1-2nd. Does having a fire sale help us become a better team sooner? Imo no. I think we’d end up with 2 really good years of rookie ni crops but end up not having enough spaces for those guys. The moves to make would be seeing if we can hold wink any one into giving us value for guys like Thomas/kola. 1 or 2 moves to bring in players who help us today, and possible getting Wilson back from the nfl while jettisoning the worst of what we have. I think a big move that could happen and could help us is actually trading strev. Swapping him for another teams vet back up qb would shake up our locker room in a big way. With all the injuries around the league I think a couple teams would be interested. Maybe you kick in a depth guy/pick to get a slight upgrade in talent and a good upgrade in fit.
