Yeah, it's helping now but we all wanted him to do it last off season as we had a Grey Cup hosting year.

For 4 years we had daily & monthly updates on Mulamba & Bikudi(?) ... "They're COMING!!!!" They'd all scream on Our Bombers (please shut up, not again!!!) when Mulamba & the other dude both got kicked off yet another NFL PR. Yeah, well they both stayed in the NFL practicing for years & never played in either league.

Last year's inaction has provided him with a great opportunity to use up last year's SMS, so far it appears like he is at least doing that 4 months too late.

The Bombers 10-8 record last year was pure luck. They should have missed the playoffs had the ball bounced the other way. More like 7-11 or 8-10. The Bomber braintrust can say we had a winning record & made the playoffs. But we all watched the team & they were fortunate to winas many games as they did. The team will either bounce back or fall off a cliff, I believe. A lot depends on Walters getting off his duff & actually doing the work needed this off season. So far, the early signs seem promising.

Whether it's FA. or trade, he can't bring mediocrity to camp in his signings anymore. All we've seen over the past 3 years is KW mismanage the SMS so that allstars leave for more cash only to be replaced by middle of the road FA talent. That can't happen anymore, our well of all-stars is dry. Time after time we chose cheap over performance and look what it got us last year. He has to do whatever it takes to free up the cash to be effective, if that means making hard choices on Bombers who are underperforming on their salary level so be it. The BO contract shows me that he still does not understand that concept though.

Let's hope he learned a lesson from his arrogance of last off season. That we didn't need any impact free agents. The Argo HC said Kelly is the starter so I doubt he'd leave. With a year off, he should be good to go. BTW, some are saying that Patrick Mahomes may have to miss the 2026 season with his torn ACL.

Sounds like they like Fajardo more than Kelly. Tells me all I need to know about how Kelly is perceived around the league.

I would like to see us sign a top Nat OL, keep our secondary, totally revamp the DL, and sign the best two receivers available, and add some depth with guys left after the initial FA frenzy

I would speculate that Hogan and Jackson just didn't mesh together. It happens.

Sankey is over rated and I would rather be have T.Jones. However, I want to see this year's camp to have some proven CFL talent challenging incumbents at every position groups. We don't play rookies unless they stand out, and that is only OK if you mix rookies with CFL proven talent to challenge at camp. Having 24 starters, a handful of 2nd year players, all rookies cannot be feasible if your organization likes to slow roll rookies. Also, the CFL talent has to be correctly identified. We saw maybe some of the worst GMing in Bomber history in our FA signings last year. Just atrocious.

OL: Randolph, Lofton, Bryant, Wallace, - they need to sign a Canadian centre or guard in free agency. As long as BO is healthy, they need to start 3 Americans on the OL QB: time to move on from Streveler. Make sure ZC knows how to pee and see who else you can sign as a backup. Wilson can run short yardage. RB: don't assume BO will play the entire season. Recruit an entry level American for a backup and use him on teams or pay him extra to stay on the PR. DL: Cam Lawson, Woodbey, Jefferson (maybe), new faces needed - I would sign a decent DT in FA DB: I would keep the secondary intact Rec: scout for some new faces in the receiving corps - Demski, Wilson, are a good start LB: I would sign a decent, experienced MLB in free agency. Move Kramdi to safety or field corner and add new faces at WIL and SAM Bin ich bindich? (Am I crazy?)
