we need to see what we have in Wilson, we are so afraid to put in untested players, that when we have no choice we have no idea how they will do. And the player himself is going in blind. Im not saying he should start, but we should have a pkg that we can put him in for. Especially if Strev isnt moving the ball, we cant afford to let him work it out

I’ve been as big of a Strev supporter as there is on these forums, but if whatever’s still going on with his knee/lower body doesn’t recover I’d say the odds are pretty high. Since coming back from the last injury he can’t seem to throw with any velocity, just using his shoulder to throw and doesn’t look like he can put anything into it when he plants.

What's the odds that they move on from Strev next season?

O- Kolo and the 2 boundary side receivers. (HM Neufeld- love the guy but he’s just too far past it) Kolo plays half the game on his ass, and completely lost in the second level most of the time. Granted our concepts might be kind of shitty but the boundary side guys just can’t figure out how to get open. Wheatfall is a poor man’s Chris Brazzell. One good game then disappears for 3. Mitchell more of the same, except the invisibility starts after one good play. Corcoran’s worse when he starts. None of them can figure out how to come back to the football on a scramble. D- Thomas, Vaval, Vaughters Thomas we’ve discussed forever. Vaughters makes maybe 1 play a game. Not consistent enough at all rushing the passer and terrible in the run game. Vaval is either getting burned or committing PI. He’s shown some really good flashes as a returner though. Great athlete, just not ready for prime time. I think just as much of an issue is who our 3 best are on O and D. Besides Brady, our “top” guys are extremely weak compared to the rest of the league.

My concern is with the QB who has always struggled in the passing game and seemingly has lost his running ability. Its also with the OC and lack of talent.

Curious to see the injury report. Curious if we try Echols over say Mitchell. Worried about Streveler at QB. Worried about Bo taking turns picking on Vaval and Lawson.

The concern lies not with the quarterback so much as with the OC and lack of talent around him.

And they frequently take game day off as well

Im still optimistic, even after a couple of tough weeks. I think we match up well with the Ticats and a win here is a real good possibility, even without our No 1 QB on a long road trip during a short week.

Yeah...I know you are on this "no plsyer is 100 percent" kick ..but cmon now your just being foolish And yeah.. there are a lot of guys still 100 percent and good majority other than the typical bumps..bruises and fatigue of a season who are as good as you can be And really....why have an IR...1 game or 6 then? Exactly. If he shits the bed, you release him or put him back to strictly short yardage. We got a glimpse of him in a real game at last years GC. Let’s see more even if he didn’t perform as well we hoped for at tc and preseason. I don’t think there is much to lose, it’s not like our QB cupboard is fully stocked.
