  1. Past hour
  2. Jarious Jackson has basically only had good seasons as a playcaller with MBT. Otherwise cheeks.
  3. I'm not as worried about Hogan because JJ is there. You'll never ever hear anything publicly about it, but I'm curious if (behind the scenes) JJ starts getting more and more responsibility...
  4. Add me to the list of people losing faith in Strev. Hogans play calling didnt help. Especially with how he utilized Brady. If I have to watch that pos read option play one more time im going to lose my mind. Bonds is a serviceable field side corner. He isnt your main guy though. Thomas is who we thought he was and Jefferson can still be the guy when he has more help. Vaval. ****** rights buddy. Hes very close as a db too. Like very very close. This guy has a future in the CFL I hope its with Wpg. That fade to our shortest rec in the endzone is a solid call mid 2nd q. Sure....throw em something so bizarre it might actually work....mid 2nd quarter i dont hate it. Under 3min in the 4th quarter during a 1 score game that youre scraping by on....might be the worst play call I've seen in 5+ yrs. Holy ****. There's no excuse for that and no explanation. I can only hope Hogan knows just how ******* stupid that was. Glad the defense and special teams came to play cause that offense was ugly. 4-3 and in the hunt!!
  5. Respectfully what about Streveler gives you more confidence?
  6. Doesn't make much sense to me. If he's toxic, you'd send him out. My feeling. The OC doesn't like him and won't use him. Walters/MOS signed him. They need to challenge the O this week how the challenged the D and DC this week. No reason why Mitchell shouldn't be on for Cooley. Let him be depth on O, let him be the 2nd returner on kicks. We have nothing at receiver. Find a spark. Spend a few hours brainstorming on packages to use Mitchell and Wheatfall...play Mitchell at Z ffs.
  7. Collaros is 10 times better than Strev. Not even close. Stop trolling.
  8. Taylor was very quick to point out that it's NOT an attitude thing. Said he talked to a number of people in both Edmonton and Winnipeg who said Mitchell is a great guy and everyone likes him. But who knows for sure without being in the room...
  9. so FI or FO... if he's not fitting in why even keep him around? Go find someone else who can contribute.
  10. Today
  11. Doug Brown said on the pregame show that he believes there is an internal issue for why Mitchell isn't starting. When Ed Tait pushed back, Doug said: "I've seen this happen in locker rooms."
  12. A win that feels like a loss... Did not give me any hope going forward. Need to pray VAJ is out and the Stamps continue to suck next week. It's our only hope.
  13. There's a real lack of play making ability in the receiving corps at the moment. Bunch of OK guys, only Demski can make a play reliably and he's still better suited being 3 or lower in a truly good group.
  14. Had good position on the Wheatfall pitch...Wheatfall kept pressing the sideline instead of cutting up.
  15. Concoran really struggled blocking tonight. His man totally blew up a promising looking sweep play in the 1st half and then he got caught blocking towards his endzone and aborted a drive. Sheed is out of football, right?
  16. Kola first. Yeah even if we get Wilson back we still aren’t half way to fixing our wr core.
  17. and collaros had one big game where he hit some deep shots and otherwise has been hot garbage... this team has lots of problems and I think qb is the least of the concerns on offense right now.
  18. Missing every threat really. Deep threat, big possession guy who can win 50/50s, even yac guy. we got all the filler and no steak or potatoes.
  19. Ball isn't coming out quick. Lots of statue sacks tonight. Lots of panic. Streveler had a good 2nd half vs BC. OL was dominant in that game. Playaction was working. He's doing nothing with his arm otherwise.
  20. 14 points from special teams and 7 from the defense.... so yeah the offense didn't do a ton to help the cause.
  21. If we get 3 return TD's every game we'll never lose again. Unfortunately we'll probably need the offense to do better than sawing off TD's with the opposing D.
  22. yeah streveler is much better at getting the ball out quicker and gives the shorter passes a chance.... Collaros throws ints like they're going out of style intermediate these days too and sure maybe he throws a better deep ball... but I'm not so sure that's true these days either. Both qbs have the same problems, either they both suck (maybe) but more likely there's a pile of other problems going on too.
  23. The blocking on Vaval’s kickoff td was perfect. The overhead view they showed at the stadium let you see how perfect of a tunnel they made. The punt td was 90% Vaval. Isolating your 5’8 receiver against a 6’2 defender for a deep ball in the endzone was unbelievably stupid. Add in the game situation and it becomes a fireable offense. Good coaching by the Argos moving Coxie out against Bond and kicking to Cooley. Pretty questionable coaching when they tried back to back handoffs from the goal line.
  24. Man i didn't watch the game yet read these comments thought we had lost for sure...🤣🤣
  25. There's a drastic difference between Collaros and Streveler's passing ability. Even with Collaros struggling. And the O in general. You'd have to watch the games with your head jammed up your butt to not admit that. Like take the emotion out...watch the football. Streveler can barely hit a pass over 10 yards. He's arm throwing. He doesn't set his feet often. He doesn't move off the first read, ever. And now he's stuck in the pocket because he can't out run a DL. Streveler is like Dustin Crum without being able to run. And it sucks, because he's a Bombers legend. But he's busted up, and he's not a pocket passer. Unlikely he'll become one in his 30s because he doesn't appear close to admitting the physical limitations he has...and honestly one of the biggest ones is his throwing motion and appearing to struggle to get anything from his lower half into his passes.
  26. give him some credit, he got to fumble 2 kickoffs
  27. I completely disagree with that assertation. The fact that both our qbs are struggling with pressure and finding receivers with separation leads me to believe the problems are less QB related and more everything else is a problem
