  1. Past hour
  2. I feel like Kate would do better if she was just herself instead of this character that she and/or TSN thinks she should play.
  3. 3-0 overall, 3-0 versus the West. Its all coming up, Blue Bombers.
  4. We'll never sign Bennett, Be careful what you wish for. We all know Chevy's answer to letting Ehler's go will a fourth line free agent winger signing.
  5. Came to the conclusion last night that it's Davis Sanchez that is bringing down the discussion on the panel this season. His takes are bland & uninteresting. He just seems to be filling in time going thru the motions as a panelist. Sanchez adds nothing to the discussion. Absolutely no chemistry at all with Muamba & Bierness which leads to her trying even harder to be funny if that is to be believed. It only makes things worse. There was more chemistry between Dave Naylor & Henoc Muamba (who is always excited) last night than between he & Sanchez all year. Naylor should be a regular on that panel with his connections with CFL management & players. I find his comments interesting.
  6. Today
  7. Yup that call on Holm was utter horse s**t. Embarassing.
  8. Star #1: Zach Collaros. Silenced his critics last night here & in Bomberland with a great performance throwing the ball. He was in command all game except for a stretch in the third quarter where the Bombers had four 3 & outs. Over 300 yards passing & a clutch TD run to sew the victory up for the good guys. Star #2: Tony Ayres: Usually our linebackers seem to play the game in obscurity while getting the job done but Ayres job last night was to stick with Tre Ford wherever he went & he did that magnificently. He performance was noticed, He pressured Ford a number of times & sacked the Elks qb at least once & kept him to just 6 yards rushing. Star #3: Nic Demski with two tds receiving including the one where he stole the ball from the Edmonton DB covering him on the deep throw from Collaros on our second possesion in th first quarter which set the tone for our offense the rest of the night. Happy Honker: Wide Receiver Keric Wheatfall who could rack up a 1,500 yard season if he maintains his pace & stays healthy. He's our replacement for Kenny Lawler as a deep threat. Hard to believe Wheatfall's the same season who couldn't keep his regular receiving spot & was a healthy scratch.
  9. Nye's a POS,
  10. Lol. Bombers' social media team were ready:
  11. I'm just so glad that Buck is gone. Let him stunt Nathan Rourke's growth as a qb. Cough, cough... Ever thought it was the QB Coach & OC whose now in BC?
  12. 1. Collaros over 80% passing, +300 yards, a rushing TD and 3 passing tds. 2. Demski 2 tds and a favoured receiver. 3. Wheatfall big play guy also. H.H. Vaughters causing headaches for edmos O plus a following the play downfield fumble recovery
  13. Just rewatching the game and yeah the last replay they showed was the one from ground level...and while it was the best view, imo, it simply doesn't meet the definition of "conclusive". You don't actually see the ball touch the ground/any pebble fly. Obviously my opinion is worth squat.
  14. he did. Streveler played well in game 1. i have to wonder if Coach Jackson is having any impact on 8 and 17 this early. so far the team is 3 wins ahead of last year at this time.
  15. They'll fight hard losing close games Like tonight trying to make Ford an actual qb until they can't anymore. By then, it'll be too late & the Elks season will be lost. When that happens, the Elks will fall apart & another year will be wasted by a coaching staff trying to do domething that won't happen. Turning Ford into a pocket passer.
  16. What about a LOTW where you get a strike removed if your guy gets 2 td’s or more. Asking for a friend 😬
  17. I'd love to see collaros run like he did on the TD more. That kind of escape act used to be his bread and butter. Too often now he just plays tackling dummy when the pocket breaks down. couple of those deep shots were absolute dimes... and the refs were utterly embarrassing. WJ by rights should have had 2 more sacks except the LOLks offensive line was allowed to wrap an arm around his neck if he got too close to Ford. The PI that took away the Holm interception was the biggest joke of a call I have ever seen. Dude trips on his own feet and it takes away an INT. Gross.
  18. Calvillo also talked about how as a backup that Ham as a veteran qb taught him how to prepare & be ready to play. Ham helped him & Trestman did as well. Having great talent around him at every position offensively did as well. Anyway, this topic isn't worth diagreeing over. It takes more than one person to build a qb. He played well tonight.
  19. HH to kick cover teams they have been really good this year
  20. Zach with twice as many rushing yards than Ford.
  21. Kramdi was especially growly tonight, almost had 2 punchouts.
  22. 6 hours after this post and voila!
  23. @lyin' guy read the other thread I know you've seen this but are ghosting it
  24. They showed a replay in the stadium where the camera must have been lying on the turf that showed it pretty clearly being trapped. Even after that lengthy delay after they showed that replay I don't even think the crowd was that into the booing
  25. Man. I love watching some haters like @lyin' guy and most RF members meltdown over the bombers dominance Willy J being held on every play but 0 calls "The bombers o line always holds:(:(::(:(::( why do the refs hate everyone besides the bombers :(??" Biggest baby in these forums. I once DM'd him extending sympathy for people jumping on his dumb opinions saying "dude, its the internet. It's ok" He extended thanks despite knowing he was wrong Now he cries and cries Placating to riders fans I have the screenshots of our private messaging. PLEASE PLEASE call me out on this @lyin' guy
  26. He was better in pass rush than he has been, a bit worse in run stopping but that was a good struggle for the front 6 in general tonight so it isn’t all on him, pass cover he was his usual self. Too shallow never in place to prevent a pass but rallies to the ball wherever it goes. Better than biggie any way. Kyrie played his best game of the year but still far off where he needs to be.
  27. I literally said out loud to myself..."does that guy come up whining to the refs after every sack?" We're talking about the Bomber's game, right?
