  1. Past hour
  2. Recycled coach. Job for life somewhere.
  3. Unfortunately, that ship has sailed. I'd have thought Osh would have asked Chris Streveler to come back as qb coach. I guess Condell wants to do it all alone.
  4. same. Especially sheed. idk if he’d be the best technical coach of the position, but his guys would run through a brick wall for him. He’s one of the best natural leaders we’ve ever had. sheed and yoshi showed more leadership than you’d think would even work in the pros. When ever a new guy would be inserted into the line up or especially start, you’d see them with him in the walk out and warm ups. Those two made me wanna run through a brick wall as a fan lol.
  5. HolyShakes is coming to Winnipeg and it looks like it's going into St Vital centre and it looks like it's going to be a bit of a rip-off of DSpot (I'll take it because DSpot is difficult to get to) judging by what we see on the menu. Though what does annoy me is that it's going to become difficult for me to make a decision about what I want to eat at that mall (way too many options)
  6. Yesterday
  7. as a fan, would love to see this -- hated how it ended with Sheed.
  8. There's 3 weeks to go in the window. Lots can change. It's a lot easier for a tackle to move inside then for an interior OL to move outside. Center calls all the blocking schemes. Stan understands that & wouldn't have any problem adjusting to Center. Neither would Neufeld if they went that route.
  9. Moe Elewonibi converted to center for us in his late thirties.
  10. No sense of urgency to win with this guy. It's like coaching is a hobby.
  11. The people on here that actually know something about football beg to differ............
  12. That makes zero sense. Stan is a natural OT. Inside is more physical. You don't convert an OT inside at age 40 unless you want to end his career
  13. I have high hopes for Dooley. Boise State is a decent program and he’s obviously a good run blocker.
  14. I hope they keep the theme https://deadline.com/2026/01/the-rockford-files-reboot-nbc-order-pilot-season-1236681903/
  15. Do we want Woodmansey? Apparently he started out as a C but was shitty so they moved him to G where he was a bit better.
  16. Always a chance, idk how good it is, but dare to dream for now. I wonder how much he will get? Deals are pretty nutty right now. If good NI Dbs pushing age are getting in the 200k range, I have to think a young prime ol like woodmansey is going to demand 275k+ Maybe north of 300. BC signs Sayles, thats a good get for them. RBs cut pickett early ahead of FA as well. Wonder how much the stamps are offering Hicks. Thats gotta be a big offer to try and get him to skip FA.
  17. It should always be the case that you need to win your spot in camp. After a run like we've had the past few years, we have to bring in league free agents who will compete for spots. And be willing to cut them if they get trounced in performance, like Vaval/Logan. On that note, how has Vaval not gotten an NFL deal yet?
  18. You’re leaving out the 16 straight in the playoffs? Some fan you are.
  19. Given the three-year downward spiral of the team, every player ought to be fighting to earn his spot. As has been repeaed, this has not been the case, and has produced the situation we find ourselves in. Since the best predictor of future behaviour is past behaviour, there is ample reason to doubt that O'Shea will change his spots and mandate competition.
  20. So you're saying there's a chance we get Woodmansey?
  21. I seem to recall that he is from the Hamilton area, so its a good fit for him if so.
  22. he would be the worst spare Olineman on a roster....cant play anything but center...and well...we saw how he plays that....as a guard he's be obliterated and embarrassed more than at center....so if a tackle or guard got hurt...1 injury would likely mean 3 position swaps....
  23. Szott was their back-up last season and he's a pending FA as well they may have a few spots to fill.
  24. He's really good as a team/position coach. They loved his recruiting ability in Hawaii, too. He didn't work out, but he was also given way to much to do. He's a quality guy though. I don't have any hate for him, even though his era here was brutal. Prior to last year, he was a very reliable snapper. Heavy-set asset? Not really. An OL with the right passport can always get another shot up here though. I find that an interesting move with woodmansey a free agent for them, and one of the best guys available. Maybe they are preparing (poorly) for him to get an offer they can't compete with.
