  1. Past hour
  2. He didn’t play D, he got in on teams. Didn’t build him up into any one. Doesn’t play any thing like biggie and never said he did or that he would be biggie. Can’t not play a guy and say he’s a miss. Also, I said one of many cases. Got a link to any thing saying he was a cancer? I’m betting the source will be “trust me bro”
  3. Of course O'Shea is gone. Kyle Walters should not let the door hit him on the way out either. Conceivable that Brock Sunderland, although he only had a .471 pct as Elks GM, or Eric Deslauriers could replace Walters. They are already here and know the club. Anyone have thoughts about Marc Mueller as head coach?
  4. Where's the report JJ was a cancer
  5. Ah. 💡 If I can read Wikipedia right, Mike Miller is the guy who oversaw the development of the sex pest and Arbuckle. That seems like a pretty good guy to have if you're looking at needing to develop a QB as we need to be. Jarious Jackson ran a pretty great O in Edmonton in 2024 -- he had MBT on a serious roll. Too bad for him his defense had negative clutch. Would be happy to see him get a promotion.
  6. Today
  7. Pretty big news already being discussed in other threads
  8. Ok thanks for that. It is pretty big news but maybe not to you
  9. Yeah this hot take needed its own thread…
  10. Jonathan Jones sucked when we did play him and was reportedly no better in the dressing room. I get you wanna defend him because you really built him up as our next Bighill...but the reality is he was a swing and a miss by Walters not MOS. We got enuff reasons to not shed a tear if MOS leaves but JJ isn't one of them. Our biggest mistake was keeping him around too long when he became a cancer
  11. I figure the arrogant Osh will end up in Toronto and it may be a good thing for the Bombers. Their cup run is done and time for new blood to lead the squad. I am forever grateful for what he did for this club but it is not the worst time for a change.
  12. we do though. Since mos kept wanting to start/roster the marine till walters cut him in the off season. The fact we dished out for jonathon jones then didn’t play him shows the disconnect as well. and who in the marriage is the one married to old guys that are his favourites. We can go back in time to when guys started then got cut that mos liked. It’s happened a lot, and mos is pretty straight forward in his opinion on guys like jake. Walter’s has kept bringing some back to keep mos happy. But has weeded out many over the years. The each have fault, and the real problem is their weaknesses scale multiplicatively for us in the worst direction. Yep. was down to miller, jackson, maksymic, and hogan for a good while.
  13. We did kick tires on Miller already but went with Hogan. https://3downnation.com/2025/01/14/blue-bombers-granted-permission-to-interview-argos-qb-coach-mike-miller-for-offensive-coordinator-position/
  14. Mike Miller Toronto QB coach, not our current ST coach.
  15. No one making a decision based on logic would look at zach and want to replace arbuckle with him for next year. But the guy who thinks jake and kola are replaceable could do any thing. torontos qb coach, not our teams coach.
  16. Are we all talking about the same Mike Miller.....?
  17. could, though I could see eiben staying and running the D. Yeah, he was in discussion last year with us. He has been an oc in the nfl and cfl previously. He was an nfl offensive qc/pass game co another 6+ years. Miller, coatanza, and jackson are all pretty close, miller has the most high end experience. If we got one of costanza/miller to pair with jackson, or both to replace him i’d be pretty happy. Both pete and mike are exceptional position coaches. Costanza also has the benefit of hacienda been here in the past and is a great fit.
  18. Correct, it was Alfons Freij that I was think about.
  19. Salo was part of Copp trade. To be fair that trade also was lopsided(Barron, Lambert, Salo, Milic for 2 months of Copp).
  20. Is he as amazing if BLM retires. I’d consider releasing him and putting that cash elsewhere. Receiver aint the problem in Hamilton.
  21. My mistake on Arbuckle. Thought I saw him on the FA list. Oh well. I think what happened in 24 25 is complacency. From the entire mafia. Miller Walters and Osh. What they all might need is a swift kick in the ass. Like almost seemed like whatever they did and whoever they played worked tho so I could see complacency kicking in. Almost like they thought maybe we shouldn’t try and be so good anymore. Or let’s see if we can win with lesser players and more Canadian starters even.
  22. Yesterday
  23. And was on a better team. And had an amazing year.
  24. My issue with all of that is nobody here has ANY idea who's to blame for any of it... It's absolutely possible that all the problems are Oshs fault as Booch insists... But we really don't know who's making what decisions. At the end of the day, the biggest problem might be that Osh is giving people too much freedom and he needs to take charge again.
  25. I agree of course, to do otherwise would be to revise history. But what happened in 2024 and 2025, leaves me just a bit hesitant. Some decisions were simply baffling.
  26. back in the day when he was an argos coach he did a Q&A thing on cfl.ca. I asked him how defensive plays are called and whether the D can make audibles based on what they see. Got a terrific multi-paragraph response back from him. Definitely got the sense that he cared about doing this tiny nothing gig for some fan on the internet.
