  1. Past hour
  2. If that turns out to be the case. The future would be bleak
  3. If Patterson is our best option, we are screwed.
  4. No reason to pre-determine, let them all compete, see who looks best in the 2 preseason games, could be Patterson comes out on top. That sounds fair.
  5. For some reason I thought Kupari was cleared to play thus making him a healthy scratch, no? Nice to see our full complement back with our forward lines. Need JM back sooner than later to make things more difficult on the Stars.
  6. Yup it's just fascinating to learn after the fact what some of these guys were dealing with and what the priority was , i.e., win versus health.
  7. Nope, apparently they're safe say reports.
  8. Yeah looks like they are really high on him. Best case scenario might be a full nfl camp and a mid to late season trip here. It’d be best for us if he’s in our camp next year, but a year of qb coaching and play against nfl athletes/competition is incredibly valuable. Especially at qb. That’s what I figure too. If elgersma doesn’t come up this camp I think we will still be fast to move off qbs4 and down. greatly agree.

  10. Streveler getting more reps may turn out to be a blessing.
  11. Patterson will be gone shortly I think. Elgersma signing with the pack. I hope to see heavy usage of Streveler and Wilson in preseason with Zach taking reps only in the 2nd game.
  12. Today
  13. Strong rumours suggest Russian Jets prospect Dmitri Rashevsky could be signing his 1 year ELC soon. He’s 24 but seems like quite the sniper in the K.
  14. Check out the injuries the Tampa players had and were playing with in their series. Hedman broken foot was the one that stood out.
  15. Packers expected to sign Elgersma.
  16. You're talking about "Designated Nationalized Americans." That's separate. These Nationalized Americans are 1 of the 24 starters for the purposes of the ratio. It's kind of perfect for a OL spot who plays every snap. You'd have to have a Canadian backup though, but we usually do on OL anyways. Bombers could start a Canadian at linebacker and use DNA on Kyrie Wilson who could then sub in for an American at any time or sub in for those designated Canadians for up to 23 snaps. Or do the same with Jefferson...if subbed in for American doesn't count to the restriction but could sub in for Canadian spot up to 23 snaps in a game.
  17. The suspension will force a different usage in our preseason games and the implementation of our new playbook. They are going to have to get Strevy a lot more reps with team 1 in practice and in the preseason, and the rest of the QBs less preseason snaps, as well as having our starters play more of the games. Strevy will have to be ready to go with our starters and our system in game 1 and Zach in game 2. Having a bye in week 1 is going to make this much easier, but it will still be much harder for the depth QBs and some other positions to get their snaps in. We've got 5 QBs plus the extra arm in the CIS kid, and then Elgersma is likely here soon. I expected a cut when Elgersma gets here, it may even be 2 QBs cut early in TC this year.
  18. Of note from Mos' interview, Jarious Jackson is not in attendance. He is excused with a personal matter, and they don't seem to have a timeline on his arrival yet.
  19. The CFL league office should be the ones drug-tested.
  20. Not for an entire game, they are limited to a snap count and they are also tied to a Designated National Player. Sure other teams have found ways to abuse the rule but it's pretty obvious MOS as a member of the rules committee is not going to validate their interpretation.
  21. Apparently it's already been reduced to one game for some reason, the normal penalty is two games.
  22. Seems they've run out of ways to try and bugger us up....What a load of nonsense...like someone said, IF he can't be reached get a hold of Miller, O'Shea or Walters....AND because they didn't this suspension should be null and void....Zack would be the last player in the league trying to avoid testing... One game suspension.......nonsensical and waaaaay over the top
  23. It seems outrageous to me that a player would be suspended based on not looking at his voicemails religiously. I check mine only when I recognize the number. Other than that it's like once a week or so. The CFL can be so infuriatingly bush league sometimes. I would 100% appeal.
  24. If an in game replacement for injury...be it 3 reps...or the whole 23....it's just fine and dandy....and depending on when injury happened could be a non issue.....if it more than 23 reps...well you use Logan and whatever Canadian back-up on roster...likely Peterson accordingly....other teams use it and benefit by it be it all 23 snaps...or a number under...as we should
  25. The designated one is not a starter. You can count a nationalized American as your 8th Canadian starter, who can play unlimited. Nationalized Americans Nationalized American players are defined as having played with their current team for 3 years or at least 5 years in the League. One Nationalized American player may be listed as one of the eight National starters.
  26. ZC should appeal. Typical CFL, Stuff that should earn a suspension doesn't but you suspend a guy for this?
  27. Some people a province over from us probably cooking up an angle now of he was only good he’d because we juiced him to the **** lol right? Soo bizarre.
