Don't be surprised to see Nail Yakapov at Oiler training camp. Not much out there for him and they won't hand him away for nothing.

People didn't think they'd hand Hall away for nothing...

that was just a rumor.  If they did offer Trouba that kind of cash, and the Jets let him go, Boston would owe Winnipeg four first round picks.  No one is dumb enough to do that deal.  That's the difference.  RFA's cost you big if you sign one, which is why RFA's rarely move teams.  

Lets get this out of the way, the Boston Bruins were never going to offer sheet Trouba

in my honest opinion, RFA's shouldn't be offered that much, but then again wasn't Ladd an RFA, but that was just a rental trade

well Frosty to answer your question that would be MTL, because they just signed Montoya

I'm willing to trust the management and ride out the goaltending here with Helle and Hutch (once 31's contract is done). Hutch had an off year in his second full season and he could rebound.

Montoya is a good backup, especially for 950k.

I'd take out goalies over the Preds' goalies.
