If we can only be lucky enough to get a top 3 pick it will fast forward this teams ability to become a playoff contender.

I've been playing with the draft simulator.  It keeps putting Winnipeg at number 7 or 8.  If that happens then I think we take Chychrun.  I don't see Tkachuk still being available at the spot, but who knows.

 I could see Tkachuk dropping...  lots of buzz around Brown, Jost, Dubois...

Think Jets end up with Dubois, Juolevi or Tkachuk if they are out of the top three

 

 

even if we don't get Matthews, I hope we get Tkachuk (because we lost out on Domi)

 

I think if we don't get a top 5 pick they take best possible defense man, if we fall from the six pick keep the name Logan Brown in mind

My personal hope is Oilers, Jets, Leafs  in that order... 

Man, if the Oilers win the draft lottery again, there'll be hell to pay from the guvs. If trump thinks the GOP Presidential leadership is rigged then the NHL will come up with something to screw the Oilers over HUGE..errrr..... UUUUUGE! They'[ve been bottom feeders for so long that this is their Stanley Cup. Except the players that get drafted there go there to learn one thing. How. To. Lose. I feel bad for guys like Hall, Eberle, TNH & Yakupov. It'll never get better for them as long as they're Oilers.

Is TSN1290 not covering the draft lottery?  Baseball is on right now....
