Jets Prospects

Kyle Connor has 48 point in 27 games an average of 1.7787 points per game .

Dylan Larkin had 47 points in 35 games for the same team last year for an average of 1.343 points per game .

Jack Eichel had 71 points in 40 games in his last year of college for  an average of 1.775 points per game .

I see Connor making the team in the fall and actually signing in March and getting a couple of weeks on the Jets roster at the end of the season.

I am hoping to see Connor on one wing with Wheeler or Ehlers or Armia on the other wing with Scheif or Matthews at center.

Going forward... Connor Scheif Wheeler Armia Ehlers and Matthews/Laine/Puljujärvi look like a pretty solid top 6 for a few years.

Lemieux, Roslovic, Petan, Copp, Lowry, Harkins, De Leo,  Lipon, and Spacek will be fighting for roster spots sooner or later.

We have Comrie and Helle and Phillips for depth in goal and look to be set for some time.

Our D, on the other hand, needs some help on the depth. Besides Morrissey, there isn't much coming up the pike on the left hand side and I fully expect the Jets to take some LHD at this draft or trade for one by this time next year. There is Sami Niku and not much else. The RHD right now is very good but not a great deal coming up the pike. Hopefully Kostalek makes the team in at least a 3rd pairing position and hopefully Glover and/or Poolman and/or Nogier turn out.

Any fans of SuperTroopers here?  The Broken Lizard comedy team all went to Colgate.

Seeing as he led his team in scoring, it seems reasonable to set the expectations dial to Brent Burns and Erik Karlsson levels.

Just checking on the two D I thought were the best picks still on the board if Jets wouldn't have pulled the trigger on Stanley...

Lucas Johansen - LHD - 68 games - 40 pts, +23 (WHL)

Kale Clague - LHD - 48 games, 40 pts, -8 (WHL)

Stanley - 35 games, 17 pts, +2 (OHL)

Still not sure what the man-love over Stanley was all about...

when can we expect this kid. 20 years old. 6'4" 196 lbs. centre.

Described as large "with some skillful elements", plays physical.

Don't trust them.

18 points in 58 games.  We don't have enough guys like this, need more.

Lowryonov.  I can't believe I missed Adgor Lowryonov.  The easiest fit ever.  So much shame.

Expecting UND defenseman Tucker Poolman to sign with Winnipeg tonight.

As for Kravkovsky or whatever, He has a contract with his KHL team until next year, he's a long shot to make the Jets tho, Not bad production for a kid playing in a mens league but.. I'd be surprised if he ever comes over to North America.

What does the Plus Minus have to do with anything?

I don't really get the point of this post besides? what? I mean, are points the be all and end all of D men playing in Junior?

Stanley was improving until he got hurt, He's a project, he's a few years away still if ever, Johansen and Clague aren't exactly sure fire picks either.

I didn't like the pick but i'm not sure what posting points and plus minus really proves
