August 23, 201411 yr Author No matter the circumstance, and no matter who the player is and what team he's on, it is never OK to hope for a player to get hurt. It's not like you would hope for a random citizen to get hurt, so how is it any different in sports? It's in bad taste.
August 23, 201411 yr Never hope for serious injuries, I've cheered though in the past when certain players got injured and had to leave the game, but those are guys who i'd consider dirty players, like if hebert or shea emry got hurt, I wouldn't be too upset, Don't want them to have serious injuries though. Hell, i'd go as far to say that when Calvillo was playing and we were playing Montreal and he got hurt, that i cheered lol. I don't see the harm in hoping a guy gets injured, maybe not hoping but if he does, i ain't gonna cry over it that's for sure.
August 23, 201411 yr I have no trouble saying that I wish Dressler gets nicked up tomorrow night. Not a serious injury...maybe a bad hammy pull. Just enough so he misses the rest of the CFL season. If that makes me classless...so be it.
August 23, 201411 yr At Sheet's age, this may be an injury that's hard to overcome. I'm not a Sheet's fan the way he was mouthing of last season about Jon Cornish always saying he was the better back but you never like to see anyone get hurt. Even Dwight Anderson.
