I think you pencil Sears in at the corner over Markett ... for now.

 

Also, I would assume Greg Peach will probably be a guy who gets cut. I'd expect McAdoo or Griggs to take that spot come week 1.

This will be different in June and July...around the time the depth chart really matters.

I know we still have the draft and our roster isn't complete yet, but boy oh boy that isn't a good team.

As Mike said, I'd be surprised if Peach is here come camp. Sears will factor in somehow as well. Despite his injury history he has shown well at corner when given the chance. Aside from the spots that Turner, Vega, Banks, Randle, and Suber will occupy, much is still very open to debate on defence.

Desia Dunn & Terrell Parker appear to be two forgotten men who are very much in play for starting jobs.

Cheaper and just as effective if not more so (hopefully minus penalties) works for me.. Peach was an emergency fill in anyway wasn't he?

I see a combination of Lucas / Thomas rotating in at DT before I see us rolling with 4 NI on the offensive line ..

Probably right about Peach... although he is a Kenny Mainor-type, I could see him sticking around.  Either way, finding an import DE can be done.

You're right - I've been pumping Swiston's tires for years now and I actually thought Pencer was better than Morely last year.  And, at least, Sorenson is gone.  Can't believe Boatman is still listed on the roster, ha

Pencer has a nasty streak to him. Hopefully with a offseason with no rehab he will be ready for camp to compete for spot.

Rough guess at the starting lineup so far...  12 import DBs on the roster for 2-3 spots?  5 import OL competing for 1-2 spots?

A 3-15 world.  The same one where Anderson and Jarvis Jones are not locks.

Etch is so unconventional that you have to forget everything and everyone associated with our past 4 - 3 defences.

 

As for offense, I wouldn't expect major changes with Marcel back, he'll basically roll with what he's got from last season.

I think Quinten Saulsberry will be our starting Center and our 2nd Import OL along with LT January and Jones on the 46. Morley seems ideal for the 6th OL(since he can play all positions), Pencer at RG, Neufeld at RT & Greaves at LG. This will give our Oline a whole new feel in 2014 and hopefully Wylie will coach these guys up to a great seamless unit where runblocking will be the strong suit!
