Dressler NFL bound

Featured Replies

Buh bye till September.

Did he get a try out with a team other than the Chiefs and tomorrow does the period to try out for teams end until they are full free agents.

My favorite player in the league. I hope he succeeds because he's someone who actually deserves it.

Riderfans is over ----------------------> that way.

It's one thing to sign a contract. It's quite another to actually make an NFL team. Dressler is a great CFL receiver. I know some little guys like Dressler & Ammendola have changed perceptions that these smaller players can't play in the NFL but the deck is still stacked against him. I'll be shocked if he isn't back in Regina after Labour Day, if not before.

Rider fan circle jerk and mutual masterbation festival pauses for a moment of silence.

After would be better.

I fully expect Chris Getzlaff's game to go to pieces like it always does when he has to carry the load at slot now that Dressler is gone.

If its the Chiefs makes the sense with Mcluster a FA would be fit in that role.

A bit surprised by this news, best of luck to him, we'll probably see him back in the CFL in 2015.

Wouldn't it be awesome if he was cut then signed with the Blue Bombers

Let's hope he gets a fair shot, but let's also hope for the CFL's sakes that he doesn't turn into a big baby like Fantuz and cry about it if he doesn't. Fantuz's whining about how the Bears treated him was an embarrassment.

I'd be shocked to hear that from Dressler.

Yes.

Couldn't happen to a nicer guy, played on a senior mens basketball team with him and he is unbelievably fast.

If he makes the Chiefs I think it would be a great fit. He fits the mold of what a slot receiver is in the NFL these days and with how the Chiefs and Alex Smith run their offense, if given a legit chance I wouldn't be surprised to see him do reasonably well for himself.

I just want to know - who howns the Chiefs?

No S on hown or Chief.......... #DatsDaJoke

Maybe we can steal him when he comes back.... Derrick Armstrong comes too mind
