Lots of parity this year.  No easy pick for the #1 team as everyone has taken turns looking like trash.

That's exactly what Dave was just saying in the group chat... "Even the good teams are ****"....

Kilam losing his mind after every loss is certainly a strategy.

Huge result for our playoff hopes today, that's for sure.

Killam used to be this happy go lucky young & hip looking STC with the Stamps. Always with a smile on his face. Now, he looks like a serial killer.

Hamilton would have lost to us last week if not for 2 gimme interceptions and they should have lost tonight. If Zach back I think we win this week. PS. I’d still take Fajardo over Streveler.

Yup he's aged right in front of our eyes. He's quickly realized being the man comes with a price.

Edm losses two in a row on last minute drives with walk off FG's. They are really close to being a winning team.

They've played hard for most of the season,  they are trending in the right direction that is for sure.

They are across board better than us really....and may still surpass us this yr...if we go status quo again in 2026...they will

Id take him over any qb we trot out...and for me saying that says something...and is quite telling

Surprised he didn't know it would be this way. Maybe he did. A lot of it has to do with inflated egos. Young & inexperienced assistants watching from the outside in on the sidelines & thinking they could do better. In reality, a lot of these guys find out there are situations they never dreamd of having to deal with as head coaches that they never did as assitants. The presssure to win is very high. Some guys do well undr those conditions & others wilt from it all.

Good teams win close games and bad teams lose them.

And Edmonton has been way more competitive this season as compared to the previous few years.  TBurgess is correct in saying they are close to being a winning team.

Absolutely, but winning teams get those close ones. It means  nothing in the standings if you keep losing those type of games.

With the typical CFL off season roster turnover, it might not matter if they're good in the last couple of games of the year.

I'm guessing the reason they are doing better is because of stability in the coaching and the ability to bring in guys who can play or make the changes they need.     I may be wrong but isn't Tre Ford healthy and able to play?  The coaches gave him a shot and then transitioned to Fajardo when it wasn't working out.
