  • Zero effort this half anywhere on O or ST

  • I swear Hogan has no concept of situational football

  • To me, this is such low level judging of the game. Of course we didn’t lose because of two singles. We lost because of continuous poor coaching, including the coaching choice to give up those two sing

As much as it’s easy to say “bad coaching cost us the game” and the usual “Jake Thomas and too many linebackers on The roster is why we lost,” the fact is this team isn’t very talented.

Receivers are below average, Collaros, Bryant and Streveler aren’t what they used to be. Dline doesn’t scare anyone, and we lost our starting corners.

This season looks more on Walters than O’Shea at this point.

PS: it would seem that the receiver that was added to the roster today is not the answer to the problems at receiver.

Can't blame the refs

This offense did nothing different after the half. No halftime adjustments

Just watch the last 3 cups offense sucks

Reffing is always bad. Wasn’t specifically worse or more one sided than normal. Our discipline was piss poor though.

this stuff isn’t happening in a vacuum but we continually watch our coaching staff make poor decision after poor decision after poor decision

Are you sure we aren't in a vacuum? Because we suuuuuuuck.

The Bombers didnt lose because of the 2 singles as it was still early in the game.

The 3rd down turnover was worse.

And I wouldnt have had Sergio kick that last kick off so deep.

Well yeah they had time to get those points back...but why give them up for like maybe 10-15 yards of field position on a kickoff?  It's not like a punt where the returner has way less time when he gets the ball.  Vaval catches the ball and runs up the field he's got 20 yards clear...and that's if he doesn't beat anyone.  So ball coming down at 8 yard line, should get out to 28-30.  Give up 1, you get it at the 40.

Poetic that they lose by 2 on the points they gave away for very little benefit.  O'Shea is outsmarting himself.

That all leads back to coaching and who chose these guys...and or the inability to coach them up to succeed...or make any in game adjustments

Walters doesn't cut guys...and play old useless crap

To be fair, we targeted him 3 times, he caught all 3, twice he took passes on 2nd down short of the marker and managed to get first downs. Hes not part of the wr problem either imo.

And this is the same coach that will punt every time before giving up a safety. It makes no sense.

Yeah most of our position groups are losing to their opposite position group in any game.

Our OL loses to the other teams DL, our DL has lost the battle most games, coming on a bit past couple weeks.  Our receivers and DB's lose their matchups basically every game but Edmonton or BC.

Same type of stuff people used to say before the 19 gc win. WRs aren’t good enough, even though we featured guys like Lawler, Demski, Bailey, adams etc.

Bad coaching, makes good plays under perform.  The classic pitfall of poorly coached cfl teams. Wasting talent, making the team worse than the sum of its parts.

Nor did he make a difference, either. He was not the reason the offence was flaccid, but not an upgrade.

Yup...osh says we got all the talent we need...just make a few more plays...what a tool...maybe make a few more coaching calls...decisions...instructions...maybe the talent is there but not the coaching???

And I’d suggest that it’s unfair to judge the receivers when the offensive scheme itself is terrible and does them no favours whatsoever.

Not saying we are overly talented there but when your OC is in over his head, it’s hard to be successful.

We are missing the playoffs, aren't we?

Crossover may be our way in

I've watched UFC instead of this game,  I assume it is not worth watching the replay of this game?

He was 100% an upgrade. He can’t fix problems with the playbook/call though.

Nah highlights and that’s more than enough

And we lose to any team who will punch us in the mouth.

First 25 mins or so...then please go find something to do...

First quarter maybe. Then turn on The Ring tape and let the creepy girl eat your soul instead.

So I assume mocking Fajardo as a starting QB after Zach loses his 3rd straight to Calgary is a bad idea?

We’ve seen change at wr, we’ve seen change at ol and qb. If we change hogan we would instantly know where the roster actually stood.
Dump kola, and bring in one more wr and I bet you see a lot of improvement.

Started ok, think we had 30 yards passing in the second half.

It's almost like hiring from within when we needed fresh ideas was a bad call.
