2025 CFL (Non-Bombers) Season

From 3DN about TSN broadcasts this year....

"The CFL on TSN is taking a renewed approach to its broadcasts for 2025.

The network’s panel will travel to all nine stadiums over the course of the upcoming season, sources told 3DownNation, including visits to Regina and Montreal in Week 1. Kate Beirness is returning to host the panel with Henoc Muamba and Davis Sanchez filling the main roles alongside her.

Paul LaPolice will also frequently appear on the panel, though he will also perform colour commentary for one game per week. As previously reported, longtime panelist and Hall of Fame quarterback Matt Dunigan is no longer with the network.

As for Milt Stegall, who has been with the network since 2009, there is no timeline for his return after the death of his eldest son, Chase. The 20-year-old died unexpectedly at DePaul University on Monday where he was a member of the school’s soccer team.

“Our CFL on TSN family is absolutely devastated over Chase’s passing. If you know Milt, you know that his family is everything to him, and we cannot imagine the pain he is going through right now,” said producer Chris Edwards in a statement to 3DownNation. “Milt is our brother and we are going to give him our love and support him in any way we can, and in whatever way he needs.”

During a broadcast teeing up the 2025 season on Tuesday, TSN dedicated its coverage this year to Chase’s memory.

TSN plans to flesh out the panel by rotating in active players, though it doesn’t appear as though this will happen every week. Players will generally make panel appearances during bye weeks, though there may also be opportunities for in-studio appearances when players are in town to play the Argonauts or Tiger-Cats.

Friday Night Football, a longtime network staple, will have a brand new presentation featuring fresh animations, graphics, and music. One source called the scope of the production “bigger.”

The play-by-play personnel at the network has remained unchanged for 2025, featuring Rod Smith, Dustin Nielson, Marshall Ferguson, and occasionally Farhan Lalji. Colour commentary will be performed by Glen Suitor, Duane Forde, and LaPolice."

Honestly the main selling point of the CFL are the timing rules of the final 3 minutes.  And arguably the most boring part of any NFL game when a team with a one score lead can just bleed the clock un

Yeah Doom and gloom is way better. Who wants to celebrate wins and look for positive signs when we can spend all week bitching and complaining.

I think we need to temper the enthusiasm a bit...It was Ottawa...and we almost lost, and really if Dyce wasnt even more clueless than Osh..we likely do

Make the bombers great again right here attitude bro. It don’t matter what they do, you will always find something. It’s at that point.

"I think we can win" is not enthusiasm. Carry on, as you were, it's all good. 🫠

O’Shea was being kind of a ***** in the pc after the game tho. Attitude for sure. Almost like he’s feeling some heat for the first time in forever.

no....I'm just being real...we have made some necessary changes yes...some by choice...some dictated by injury or we wouldn't have made them...but we in no way shape or form a top team currently...some evolving we could be....but we also 1 or 2 key injuries away from disaster and in a few spots we have absolute zero depth....and the fact our coaching is killing us and have zero faith in them currently adds some more caution to the whole thing

If your dense brain can actually read and see where I have noted some of the positives then maybe you would realize that comment was a pile of crap...and coming from you who bemoans and has opinion at times that are right out to lunch and should probably put the cookoo back in the clock you really shouldn't critique others

He's been short for sure. Even pregame when someone asked him about the Offense improving "The whole team, not just the offense" said with some sharpness.

Well in our current form...I disagree and dont think we can consistantly win...not against winning teams...faced 1 team with a winning record and they have owned us 3x..

Did they elaborate on what Brown's injury was last night? I thought I heard it was a knee?

There was a lot to complain about in the second half, no question... But can we please celebrate the food things that happened without being made to feel guilty about it? We desperately need a shot of positivity around here. It's become a vacuum of sadness, depression and anger.

his defense of the fg was absurd....saying you cant punt the ball that far...like really???....if that was the case then every time you had a 3rd down you should set up for a fg I guess...cause you cant punt it as far...total load of crap

I'm slowly becoming addicted to the poutine served at the stadium. I don't know what they put in that thing

I wanted them to go for it. Get strev out there again and end it. At that point of the game, I'm doing everything I can to keep possession.

plumless decision not to go for it really....show faith in your short yardage like he said he had in his cover teams as reason for kicking it....Any long range miss on a FG is recipe for disaster with the personelle you need to execute it...any coach knows that regardless in how much "faith" you have in your cover teams

So who wants to go to some Argo home games next season In Winnipeg

The CFL announced Friday that the Argonauts will play home games at Hamilton Stadium, Mosaic Stadium in Regina and Winnipeg's Princess Auto Stadium against the host teams during the World Cup.

The Lions will relocate for two home games, with the club planning to announce those details at a later time.

Even best case scenario there (making the FG), you're still giving the ball back to OTT with more than enough time to score twice. Sure it's unlikely, but not impossible. Keeping the ball (by going for it) ends all hope for an OTT team that had their number in the 2nd half.

Never heard one, no. Did look like a knee, yeah.

I mean 2 points is better than not... but man Ottawa did as many brain dead coaching moves as the Bombers... Hard to feel positive watching the team again piss away a good start.

yeah it's not doom and gloom....but more not letting a win gloss over a lot of issues still there...which is a big reason why we at this point in the first place...win is good....but again..was Ottawa...and against a guy who makes more dumb decisions than us

For real? I mean, those places all make sense as Hamilton is close and Winnipeg and Saskatchewan draw well. I mean, a half filled PAS is a better crowd that most Arogs home games.

We tried real hard to ****** defeat from the jaws of victory. But Ottawa just snatched it away from us, gotta give it to them, they wanted it more. And I'm glad they did.

Home Game - singular and in name only. It's one game in each city but still against the host team.

During the regular season, the Argonauts will play one home game in each of Hamilton Stadium, Mosaic Stadium in Regina and Princess Auto Stadium in Winnipeg, against the host teams

Argos, Lions to play select home games away from BMO Field, BC Place Stadium in 2026 - CFL.ca
