  • Nobody's saying at this point, and CoD really doesn't matter. We've lost one of the all time greats. Imagine the confidence it takes to be a drummer in Dave Grohl's band....??? The balls on that guy.

  • My favourite Liotta performance was as Henry Hill in Goodfellas. That movie is just so good and stands up today. He was just ridiculous in it.  My favourite movie that Liotta was in is Field of D

  • any of you that have never seen the Comedy Central "Roast Of Bob Saget", go track it down online. One of the best (THE best??) they've ever done. Gilbert Gottfried's set is straight up one of the funn

What happened? That's sad. He had issues with drugs & alcohol especially in the waning years of his active career in WCW. I saw a video of him in the early 2000's showing up at an Indy event & he was so drunk he couldn't stand up, let alone wrestle. Diamond Dallas Page took him in & cleaned him up over a decade ago.

He had complications from his hip transplant. Three heart attacks. They kept him on life support until the family could gather.

I saw Scott Hall iwrestle at the old Winnipeg Arena in early 1985 during his pre Razor Ramon days. He was this huge dude who looked like a body builder pushing 290 lbs. He wrestled Curt Hennig & defeated him. Most of the crowd had no idea who Hall was. He was all roided up. He really trimmed down when he wrestled as Razor Ramon. I knew about the shooting death in Florida. The guy was reaching for his gun so what was he supposed to do? he was never charged as I think it was viewed as self defense but it took a toll on his life afterward.

“The Foo Fighters family is devastated by the tragic and untimely loss of our beloved Taylor Hawkins,” the band wrote on Facebook.

“His musical spirit and infectious laughter will live on with all of us forever.

“Our hearts go out to his wife, children and family, and we ask that their privacy be treated with the utmost respect in this unimaginably difficult time.”

WHAT THE ****

So I originally got into Taylor Hawkins back in the Alanis/Jagged Little Pill days. Infectious personality. Never not smiling. This one gets me worse than Tyree. One of those guys from your teens that wasn't all that much older than you and then SPLAT WTAF

Cause of death?

Article seemed to go out of it’s way not to say.

Possible he relapsed ala Phillip Seymour Hoffman but who knows. Could have been a killer bee and it would be just as tragic.

And he was incredible. If you needed it soft and finesse-y, or full on' wailin', he could give you everything. Fell down a YouTube rabbit hole last night and ended up watching their show from Wembley that they've got posted online. God, I love the Foo....and Hawkins was such a key cog.

Former Teen Idol Bobby Rydell Dies At 79

Bobby Rydell, one of the biggest teen idols in the pre-Beatles era of rock ‘n’ roll, has died just weeks before his 80th birthday.

Rydell, whose most famous songs include “Volare,” “Swinging School,” and “Wild One,” died Tuesday, according to numerous outlets.

The cause of death was pneumonia, according to the Philadelphia Inquirer. Rydell’s wife, Linda Hoffman, was by his side at Jefferson Hospital when he died.

Born Robert Louis Ridarelli, Rydell took to music at a young age and was performing in nightclubs in the Philly/South Jersey area when he was 7, according to Variety.  The singer's hits included “Volare,” “Swinging School,” and “Wild One," and he inspired the name of the high school in "Grease."

After changing his name, Rydell tried to make it in show business as a singer and drummer. One of his early bands, Rocco and the Saints, featured another future teen idol, Frankie Avalon, on trumpet.
