Noeller Posted 5 hours ago Report Posted 5 hours ago It's the concussions I worry about the most.... But since he went full White Wolf in Wakanda, it seems like things are better... Here's hoping! Might be my all time favourite player...

Interesting. I’m surprised by that. Older guy, hasn’t played in a couple years, has some health concerns…. Maybe the agent trying to fan some flames? Regardless, hopefully he’s in good shape and has some juice left. Could be a cool story.

Makes sense for him to sign here…. I doubt there was a lot of competition for his services. I could see CHI taking a flyer with near-zero talent left on that team. Would not offer more then min wage considering they already paid him 120m.

It was Winnipeg or Colorado they say. Winnipeg all along. Dude isn’t coming back for fun, he wants to win. He was never signing with a bottom feeder and that’s what Chicago will be. I’d bet it was like this… Toews agent asks JT who he wants to play for, JT says Winnipeg but if they aren’t interested I’d be open to Colorado or another good team. Jets were beyond interested. I’m pretty convinced the only way Toews wasn’t gonna be a jet is if the Jets weren’t interested Edited 1 hour ago by Goalie
TrueBlue4ever Posted 1 hour ago Report Posted 1 hour ago Does this signing spur Ehlers at all to stay? We can’t offer him a first line role, but if we have a stronger second line that allows him to get 1A line minutes and point production, is that enough to keep him here?

Or does this signing mean he's for sure gone and we're using his potential cap space... Cause JT *could* cost as much as 7- Million in cap space next year if he hits all his bonuses

We can't pay him what he will likely get in free agency. Don't think this changes anythying.
