I think I was one of the few that really liked how he played. Too bad.

I liked him also. I think maybe the concussion he got was worse than we all thought. I thought the potential was there. RFA tho means if he’s back in the nhl, jets retain his rights. Perhaps going home ish will help.

Rashevsky prob wouldn’t make the Jets. He’s scoring at a 0.6 ppg pace in the K. Do ppl see who leads the K in scoring? Guys who aren’t good enough to play in the nhl. I have my doubts his game translates well to North America. I think Chibrikov and maybe lambert but not sold on big bad Brad yet could be nhl forwards. Salo on d. Yager ceiling is 2C.

Pretty cool video on Facebook of him being surprised with both. Comrie actually brought the hart.

Now we just need him to win the Conn Smythe.

They took a big step this past season. Look at Edmonton tho and Florida. Lots of solid value signings there. Jets got nice depth also but we need some vet leadership like a Perry or Marchand. Toews would be solid there.

Our own Lane Hutson

Not even close. But prob a legit partner for Salo in the future. Give me Salo Freij as a pair over schenn miller Stanley heinola plus not every team including Montreal passed on Freij twice. Every team passed on Hutson twice pretty much. I’d prefer my d man with some size as you see the playoffs are a thing.

Jets found their 2nd line Center 😉

I doubt it. Lowry hurt prob until Xmas so I’d imagine 3rd line here to start. This is great news. I hope he does end up being our 2C cuz that means he’s playing well then.

Hopefully he’s got something left.  Should at least help us with faceoffs.  Makes sense for him to sign here…. I doubt there was a lot of competition for his services.

Lebrun said there was a ton of interest when it was first announced that Toews was serious (haha) about coming back.
