I really honestly thought that race riots were a thing of the past. Guess it's just different up here.

Even in Canada, there is a small but potentially violent minority who would readily resort to violence against people. all they need is a sense of encouragement or complicity by silence.

Kneel and you're called a ******. The President threatens you. The VP does a publicity stunt to rile the racist base.

Protest and the President calls you a THUG (which is just code for the n-word) and threatens to shoot you.

March in the street, wearing Nazi gear and promote fascism.....and the President calls you "good people"

Even though they arrested the main culprit in the death of  Floyd there is going to be more problems with the release of the Coroner’s preliminary autopsy findings- quote
“no physical findings that support the diagnosis of traumatic asphyxia or strangulation.“

Even though Floyd was non-responsive for 2 minutes and 53 seconds before the officer took his knee off his neck.

Oh boy...

Manslaughter will still stick. Even if he had underlying health issues, were it not for the knee to his neck and the act of not assisting him, he’d not be dead.

Did I hear this correctly, the cop and Floyd may have known each other.  They worked as bouncers for the same nightclub.

Trump walked out on his presser without taking questions.  Tried to distract bu announcing the US was severing relationship with WHO (effort to blame WHO for his lack of response to covid)

By no means is the manslaughter charge a slam-dunk. More egregious cases have walked, and not that long ago.

George Floyd and former police officer Derek Chauvin worked security at same nightclub: report

Floyd and the ex-cop overlapped shifts at south Minneapolis club El Nuevo Rodeo, the building's former owner says.

I can't see Trump surviving past November. I think most Americans are fed up with the daily chaos & want him out except his ever shrinking base. But then... he's proven his critics wrong before.

This certainly isn’t helping him.  Protests all over America.  They’ve had enough of this racist garbage.

someone on cnn said it well. Racism doesn’t go away, it hides. And when it’s given oxygen it flares up. Trump is that oxygen.
