Perreault-Copp-Appleton

Bourque-Shore-Harkins

 

I actually think that's better than what we've had recently, aside from Lowry, of course.  I'd also dump Bourque and play Vesa, but it's not surpising Bourque is in there to get another 4 minutes.

I'd also like to see Harkins get a shot on PP2 instead of Perrault or Copp.  He's obviously had a lot of PP experience with the Moose, so why not?

Carolina’s system is faster than Maurice can adjust to - hope it works out this time

I'd leave Vesalainen in the minors. Let one of the veteran minor leaguers play <10 min/night or sit in the press box.

Yeah, I don't think I would have called him up either, but he's up and I'd let him play over Bourque.

Dumpster fire in the D zone big time.. Most forwards included. 

4 goals on 18 shots.   And there is no urgency in this team.  The fat lady has sung on this team.  I'll be shocked if we win 10 more games this season

looks like the Jets blew their best chance to at least be in the stanley cup, two seasons ago.

It's really too bad for the fans.

Yup.  Not really sure why Murat would even bother with that tweet.  There is no one thinking about the playoffs and this team, right now.

I'm no Maurice fan but this isn't his doing, it's Chevy's. He let way too many players walk while tying up $17M in cap space in aging Buff, Perrault and Kulikov. Now he's hooped, time to tank and start unloading the dead wood and cut your losses. This is a deep draft and maybe he can finally land that top 6 Centreman he's being renting the last 3 years. 

Harkins had 3 minutes of ice.  Bourque too.  Why even bother?

I hope Maurice travels light. 
 

trade everyone who isn’t part of the core for whatever picks and prospects you can get. 

Our current group of dmen is terrible. four of the six guys we dressed yesterday have no business being in an NHL lineup.

What exactly would that accomplish right now? A coaching change wouldn't solve the injuries. A coaching change wouldn't solve the craptastic blue line. A coaching change wouldn't solve the Byfuglien fiasco.

Buff would not save this team...  might as well just take the whole season off
